Great former inn with a tremendous great room, huge dining room, a nice kitchen, and four spacious bathrooms all with full baths. It is an easy drive into downtown despite being up in the hills.
We were in Asheville for a family wedding, and stayed here so we could all be together. The house fit the bill perfectly - good location and very comfortable for us all.
This was a beautiful and spacious rental on the outskirts of downtown Asheville. It was easy to get to and to go explore the city. Would highly recommend
We could not have had a better family experience. The house was beautiful. My daughter in laws and I loved how the home was decorated. So cozy, comfortable and warm. The hot tub was enjoyed by all. We considered the weekend a true blessing.
We were 7 adults and 2 teenagers, with ages ranging from 16-86 (!) but also had local family members join at the house for dinners and catching up on the terrace. Had a great time. House was clean and comfortable. Did some hiking in the trails behind. Close to town and Biltmore estate.
Comfortable, roomy property for 8 adults. Very quiet despite only being a few minutes from downtown. Well equipped and outfitted. Maintenance could be better.

Charming Place to Stay!
We stayed here for a girls trip to Asheville and it was a great space for a big group! The house is spacious and charming and very comfortable for our group of 8. A few drawbacks were that some of the rooms do not have closets and the bathroom sinks are all very small. It is a little tricky to find down a dirt road and is located about 10 minutes from downtown Asheville. Overall a great stay!
We loved everything about this place!! We had 7 ladies on a Biltmore Christmas trip and this place was beautiful. We ended up spending more time here just catching up in the many different sitting areas then hitting the town. Beautifully decorated and so convenient to town. The highlight was watching the Bruno the Black Bear from the comfort our kitchen. Would come back again for sure!!
We had a great time and the check in process was simple and convenient. Communication was great and the team was able to respond quickly and resolve any questions we had. It is definitely a place for a quiet, relaxing and comfortable trip away from bright lights of the city and other people visiting Asheville. Nature is truly all around you. Thank you for everything.
We were blown away by the house! The history of the 100 year old house combined with the new features was awesome. We had the best of both worlds being in a house with a beautiful Mountain View just a few miles away from the downtown. The owner was very responsive. We will definitely be coming back to this property.
We had a good stay in Asheville at the Bridle Path Inn. Enjoyed the location and space the house offered, also all bathroom are updated which was really nice. Pros include location, historic factor, character of the house and space. Cons include no counter space in bathrooms, lacking some basic items and the closets used as storage for their house things instead of leaving room for guests to hang their clothes and things. Manager was responsive for the needs we had and helped. While it did feel older, if you want a unique spot in Asheville with character and history, not just a cookie cutter rental, this is your place!
This is a really unique property with lots of history, great location and plenty of space for large groups. The decor and furnishings are top notch and reflective of the home’s age while still being very comfortable and modern. The four bedrooms all have king beds with en-suites which was such a great set up for our group. The main living area is huge with tons of seating areas. The porch is also huge with Mountain Views. There isn’t much outdoor space other than the porch but it’s a great neighborhood to take a walk. There is a weekly Saturday farmers market within walking distance. Cons: the porch was clearly under construction- resurfacing or installing new floor. This was not disclosed on the listing and discovered at check in. The porch furniture was in the driveway and the porch was dirty. We notified the host and the next morning a crew returned the furniture and the host provided a partial refund for the inconvenience. Despite the porch issue we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the property.
Our family group of eight mature women from around the country convened in Asheville for one of our periodic reunions, and this was the perfect house! We loved the well-stocked and large kitchen as well as several “gathering” places such as the high top table in kitchen for breakfast, the large dining room table, the THREE seating areas in the living room, and the huge front porch that were perfect for conversations among a small group or our entire group of eight. The view from the front porch off to the west at sunset made it a great spot for wine and cheese and conversation in early evening.
The beds were very comfy and the bathrooms have all been remodeled in the past few years, several with huge walk-in showers.
It’s a short jaunt to all that Asheville has to offer, yet since located up in the hills, it also feels very private and protected. Collin stopped by when we had a question about the outdoor heaters and was very friendly and accommodating.
We all had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend when visiting Asheville!
Incredible place to stay for my group of ten guests (including friends and family)--with its huge wide open central space it truly has a "wow" factor that I haven't seen at any other property. Beautiful updated furnishings alongside antiques in space with historic character. The large wraparound deck had amazing mountain views too! We were there to celebrate my sister's upcoming marriage and she was speechless at what an incredible space it was.
My only comment is that the listing advertises a "fold out queen sofa," and as best as we can tell this has been replaced by one that only folds into a twin bed. We consulted with the owner's assistant and that is the conclusion we reached. There are more air mattresses than advertised, but if there is no longer a fold-out queen sofa then that part of the listing should be updated.
I cannot say enough how perfect this Inn was for our trip of four couples to Asheville! I received kudos ALL weekend from everyone because I was the one who found the listing and booked it. I knew it looked fabulous online, but seeing it for real was just incredible! The location was perfect for close by shopping, restaurants, breweries, galleries and everything we wanted to do. The Inn itself is just stunning! We loved the ambiance of the space...so warm and inviting! The first night we gathered under the heaters on that wonderful wrap around porch and just talked and laughed ourselves silly. The four bedrooms are just lovely and the beds were so comfortable. The bathrooms are nicely appointed and cozy. The full kitchen, the wood stove, the jacuzzi all added to our wonderful stay. The last night we all snuggled in front of the fireplace/stove on the super sized leather sofa and told stories and procrastinated going to bed because none of us wanted to leave! Such a FABULOUS, FABULOUS accommodation and I so hope I have the chance to visit again in the future!
This place is amazing. Beautiful views, great gathering spaces. Loved having en suite bathrooms, made getting ready for wedding so much easier! Location was fantastic, close to downtown. The porch was my favorite spot.
The heaters on the balcony would have been nice, but the butane was out.very difficult property to get to. If there was any snow or ice, and we would not have been able to get to it! We did have an suv too! Not well marked entrance. Lots of different dogs in the area and very vocal at all hours. Interesting place but I would not stay there again.
Bridle Path Inn was the perfect set up for our family trip…roomy, lots of seating and gathering space, large kitchen. We loved the decor and character of the space.
Very charming and comfortable old style former inn. Perfect place for a mini family reunion. Our group consisted of six adults and three small children, and we had all the space we needed. Four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and exterior doors, as well as large common areas, a wraparound balcony, and a great kitchen. And very close to Asheville’s amenities.
