Located in a small quiet mountain subdivision, this 5BR/3.5BA getaway has it all - a large fenced yard perfect for kids or furbabies (NOTE: due to damage from Hurricane Helene, some of the fencing is down in the backyard), screened porch, 2 levels of porch/deck, hot tub, game room, chef’s kitchen, ample parking space and 5BR/3.5BA spread out over 4,600 square feet. Enjoy easy access to a plethora of outdoor adventures and the culture and cuisine of nearby Asheville. Working remotely? Enjoy fast, reliable WiFi and a private office space.
    LOCATION
    Conveniently located just south of Asheville, this home has everything you need to make you feel right at home - with NO remote roads to navigate! Only fifteen minutes to downtown Asheville, the Biltmore Estate, several local breweries including Sierra Nevada, mountain biking, hiking, kayaking with easy and quick access to I-40, I-240, and I-26 and the Blue Ridge Parkway which allows you to quickly get anywhere you want to go. Check out nearby towns like Hendersonville, Brevard and Black Mountain easily. This home is just minutes away from first class golfing, art museums, various hiking and biking trails, white water rafting and in the winter months go snow skiing and snowboarding at either Cataloochee Ski Resort in Maggie Valley, NC or Wolf Ridge Ski Resort in Mars Hill, NC.
    Uber and Lyft service is available in this area as well.
    Recommended for families, children, and dogs. Not for parties or groups for bachelor or bachelorette parties. This is in a quiet neighborhood.

    * The living fireplace is decorative only.
    * NO firepit at this house.
    * There are no bedrooms on the main level/first floor.
    * The pricing is set for TEN PEOPLE OR LESS. ADDITIONAL GUESTS (11-12) WILL INCUR A $20 PER NIGHT PER GUEST ADDITIONAL FEE. Children of any age are counted. This fee is for additional usage expenses as well as extra maid fees. For example, 11 guests equal ONE extra guest at $20/night additional fee.
    *DOGS ONLY allowed! No cats, bunnies, birds, or any other animals other than dogs due to allergies. A dog fee will apply plus all applicable taxes. $30 per dog plus taxes, per night. Maximum of TWO dogs ( 50 lbs and under) with prior approval. DOGS MUST BE ON A LEASH AT ALL TIMES while walking or in the front yard/driveway. They are welcome to enjoy the fenced-in yard.

This well appointed home in a quiet neighborhood was perfect for our family's stay. There was plenty of room to spread out and read, watch TV, play games, and relax. The location is excellent--close to the airport and to all that Asheville and the surrounding area have to offer. The hosts were gracious and responded in a timely manner to any questions we had. We had one small issue which was resolved promptly. I highly recommend this property.

Such a comfortable home

Our group of five women throughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was as described, the instructions were super clear and easy and the home had everything we could have wanted.

Family Gathering

Amazing property! The house was huge and great for a family with small kids like us. We had a maintenance issue during our stay and the property manager had it resolved within hours, which was incredible. The only thing to improve would be the backyard, which was pretty unkempt. Would definitely stay again!

Something for everyone

Between the hot tub, the pool table and the many areas to relax and enjoy, we found plenty to keep us busy when we were not out and about. We looked for a place close to the airport while still being convenient to the wedding we attended in Asheville, and this fit both of those categories. Would highly recommend and we will definitely stay again when we are in the area.

Great long weekend!

We stayed here for a family weekend trip to Asheville and it was a very convenient distance from downtown. The house had plenty of space for us to relax as well as a nice outdoor area to spend time. I would recommend this house to anyone looking to get away to the mountains and enjoy a weekend close to Asheville!

The house was wonderful and very clean. The beds were comfortable and the house was exactly as described. Good location as the house is about 15-20 minutes from everywhere we went. We will definitely be bookmarking this house for future stays!

Just what we needed

This property was just what we needed for our stay in Asheville. Very clean. Very comfortable beds and plenty of space for our group. This is a large house in a quiet neighborhood. We had a great time exploring the area as well as relaxing at the house. The house has room for a large group to spread out as well as room to get together for meals. It is clean and well taken care of with all the amenities you will need.

This was one of the most convenient places to stay. There were 5 of us for most of our stay, with 3 people showing up just before my son's wedding. It had plenty of space for everyone. The pool table and fuseball table were hits for all of us. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The room was plenty big enough for multiple people to prep and cook.The rooms were big and the beds comfortable. The bathrooms were much bigger than anticipated.We loved the porch. It was a perfect place to close out the day. We took trips to see Chimney Rock, every apple farm off of RT46, Biltmore, downtown Asheville, Stone Ashe Vineyards, and lots of parks to walk our pets. Even the streets in the neighborhood gave us a good workout on our walks.It was a very enjoyable time for all of us.

Great place for a family visit and close to Asheville!

We really enjoyed our long weekend at this property. It was exactly as the listing indicated. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had lots for dishes and cookware. We enjoyed the hot tub as well as playing pool. It is very close to Asheville as well as restaurants & grocery close. We have family in the area so would definitely stay again. Bonus was seeing the 2 mama turkeys and 9 babies in the back yard.

Fantastic place

Our group of friends had a fantastic time here, extremely close to Blue ridge pkwy, 15 minute drive to downtown. Tough to get an Uber from the house but was never too big of a deal. Backyard is fantastic as well.

Memorable wedding weekend

Our son had his destination wedding at the North Carolina Arboretum. This home was the perfect spot for my husband and I and our other children and three grandchildren to stay. I liked the space to spread out, especially the beautiful bathroom in the main bedroom. My adult children enjoyed the hot tub, and the grandkids did much better in a home than they would have in a hotel. We were even able to get some nice photos of the groom and groomsmen getting ready for the big day.

Great getaway

Large spacious house with a nice basement game room including pool table. Ample parking and convenient location for grocery shopping. Local property manager Darin was great. Stopped by the first day to insure we got settled in ok. Stopped back out when we contacted him in regards to a smoke detector battery and fixed it. Great service! Unfortunately the hot tub pictured in the listing was in disrepair and not usable. Other than that it was a very enjoyable stay and would recommend this property.

A beautiful home, very conveniently located

The house was set up just as we needed. Space to congregate and cook, space for the kids to play, quiet spaces for those who needed to sneak away for a little work or peace and quiet. The host was very accommodating and communicative when we had questions. She also allowed my daughter to access the property the day after we checked out to retrieve some swimwear left in the dryer. The only suggestion we would offer is that the stock of dishware was somewhat limiting as were the bath linens. One hand towel per bathroom, and none for the main floor washroom. Those minor inconveniences aside, it was a wonderful space for our family to gather and celebrate our mother's life.
