  • "Our House" is a great place to get away from it all! This elegant home features vaulted ceilings, hand-crafted rock-work, and wormy chestnut furniture made from refurbished barn wood. There is an indoor rock fireplace that was hand-crafted by a local artisan (wood provided for casual fires). While you relax around the fire, be away from it all. For those who wish to stay connected, enjoy wireless internet connection. Watch TV on a 60' flat screen TV with Blu-ray and Surround Sound. Outside, soak your worries away in the 6 - person hot tub on the covered rock pavilion with an outdoor fireplace. The spa area is a favorite place for guests to gather around the fire and catch up with each other!

    "Our House” is nestled in a mountain cove, with a distant year-round view of Little Pisgah Mountain. The front porch has ample seating – two tables with chairs, two adirondack chairs, and five additional chairs. There is also a new propane grill.
    Nourish yourself in this peaceful cove while you enjoy the hospitality of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

    The Cove at Fairview is conveniently located – just 15 minutes to The Biltmore House, 15 minutes to downtown Asheville, and 10 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Fine dining, breweries, and mountain vistas are some of the local attractions our guests enjoy.

    The Game Room has something for kids of all ages – a Brunswick pool table, HD-TV on a 40 Inch Flat Screen, foosball +. The fully-equipped kitchen features granite counter tops, a cooking island and a wine cooler. This home is always impeccably clean. There is a gorgeous mountain view from the front porch.

    Outside there are many places to sit and enjoy the vibrant flower gardens and the woods. There are horses, miniature donkeys, and chickens - if you feel like visiting the animals. Fresh eggs provided. This elegant home features exceptional high-tech and rustic amenities.

    We also have an electric charging station. This Level 2 EV Fast Charger is available free of charge.

We really enjoyed this property and so did the kids! We used the fire pit every night to roast s’mores and the kids loved visiting the horses every day. It was a solid location and felt remote enough for the peace and quiet but was also 15 minutes away from everything we wanted to do. The property manager was great and left tons of helpful tips on things to do in the area like the brewery around the corner where our kids ran around while we had a beer. Altogether an excellent stay and property!!

Beautiful wood, very clean, so much space. Teens had a lot of fun in the basement. We loved the setting, beautiful views, very friendly host. We enjoyed the fresh eggs and feeding the horses. Would definitely stay here again!

10 out of 10! This house and the host Frank are nothing short of amazing. It's safe, clean, well stocked, comfortable, beautiful property and views....I could go on and on. I will definitely come back and bring family and plan another girls getaway. Frank has thought of everything and is an incredible host with the best house/property I have ever stayed at! I hear spring is even more beautiful with the flowers in bloom. I cant wait to come back!

Beautiful Home with Amazing Views!

Our group loved this house! The hot tub, waterfall on the hillside, and the views were amazing. Farm fresh eggs were a nice touch and the beds were comfortable. We will definitely stay here again!

Quaint and Beautiful

Group of 7 stayed here for a golf week. Perfect proximity to some of the best golf in the area. Great amount of room for everyone. Host was very communicative and responsive to any of our questions. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Asheville Vacation Home

This was an incredible property - absolutely perfect for a vacation to Asheville. The owners were friendly and committed to helping us feel comfortable and welcome. The farm eggs were delicious and a few in our party had massages that Frank arranged! The location was great - an easy 15 minutes to Asheville and 10 min to the Blueridge Parkway. Lovely Stay!

This house easily accommodated young and old. We had a great week of relaxation and loved the packet put together with the recommendations. Everyone enjoyed feeding the animals and fish, and it was especially memorable for the kids. The location was a perfect distance from Asheville that allowed for us to have a quiet place to relax and make memories as a family.

Birthday Celebration

We found “Our House” even more wonderful in person than the online photos. The owner, Frank, gave suggestions as to great eateries and other area highlights. Perfect views, well stocked kitchen (with a generous supply of eggs included), roomy interior and porch spaces to gather made for a perfect trip for our group. The barnyard animals were a crowd favorite…we all want to make a return trip!

Holiday Gathering

Perfect place to spend a cozy Christmas. Plenty of room for everyone! Played games, watched movies, enjoyed the hot tub by the outdoor fireplace. Loved visiting the animals on the farm. Family Holiday

Perfect stay for our large family of 8 with a mix of children, teens and adults. Everything you need is there including eggs and firewood! We brought our groceries and never left. Our stay was absolutely wonderful from start to finish! Frank personally welcomed us to his quaint home and provided an informative tour of things we needed to know. Every detail was thoughtfully considered—from the comfortable beds and high-quality linens and spa robes to the fully equipped kitchen and cozy living spaces. Perfect for our group of 7 adults. The location was ideal, offering both convenience and a peaceful atmosphere. We especially loved enjoying the beautiful mountain views from the porch and the relaxing hot tub while also enjoying the outdoor fireplace at the same time. We also enjoyed feeding the donkeys and horses on the hobby farm. The host was exceptional—friendly, responsive, and genuinely committed to making sure we had a great experience. Perfect setting for family stay

Frank was a wonderful host. Accommodations were just as described and offered enough space for our 7 adults and 2 year old granddaughter. Hot tub and outdoor fireplace made for a very relaxing evening. Grounds were beautiful (flowers, mini waterfalls, koi pond) and well kept. My granddaughter loved feeding carrots to the animals. We loved relaxing in the hammocks. Close to Asheville and other attractions. Would definitely stay there again!

180 years...

We chose this property for 3 siblings and spouses to celebrate our 60th wedding anniversaries together. Our Fairview mountain retreat provided the perfect venue to quietly celebrate, visit and enjoy the mountain splendor in perfect weather and season! Our host was informative, accommodating and attentive to our requests. The koi pond and barn animals were great on-site attractions complementing the comfortable amenities of our mountain retreat!

Excellete spot. Relaxing stay.

We met with some ladies I went to high school with as a mini reunion. We had massages booked thru the host as well and enjoyed it near the waterfall. The hot tub was nice as well. We ate in for breakfast with the provided eggs. The coy and horses are fun to looks at. The sitting areas inside were comfy for conversation. Great rockers on the porch and comfy seating beside the outdoor fireplace which we used on a cooler night.

Fantastic Retreat Weekend

From making the reservations to closing the door to leave our host Frank Dixon was accessible, informative, hospitable, generous. Just the consulate host. Best VRBO experience ever.
