We had a wonderful stay. The room and bathroom were clean. One note, there is some road noise so bring a white noise machine or earplugs. Everyone was super nice and we had a great stay overall.

We were looking for a low budget room just for the night. We were impressed with how newly renovated and updated it was. It was small but had what we needed including coffee and snacks. It is right by the road so keep in mind that the traffic can be heard throughout the night. Would happily sleep here again.

Location was very convenient for our purposes and staff was helpful and friendly. Being on the main street it was a little noisy with traffic, but a good nights rest on the comfortable bed made that a non issue.

The staff was incredibly friendly and the room was fine - a really good room foe the price, however, will warn - the walls are thin and the traffic can be loud! That said - wow, the price of this place + the view from the front door alone being right on lake superior is so hard to beat. There is also a really really nice gas station within a 2 minute walk of this place to get anything you could need in terms of a quick bite to eat, and Ashland is an absolute treat to explore! I would stay here again.
