「We only stayed one night because we were passing through. We were upgraded from a cabin to the lake house for no charge because of a booking conflict, so that was very good for us ! Lake house was very roomy , and had lots of character. Some antique furnishings , a full kitchen and laundry, and even two tubs of locally made ice cream in the freezer ! Mainfloor washroom was way too far away away from the bedrooms for our liking , but that would be our only complaint.」

「The apartment reminded me of off-campus housing some friends lived in during college - an older building, not in the best repair, but good enough. In this case, there are some newer things (couch, rugs, TV) juxtaposed with some older things (beds, general condition). Several of the rooms have light switches across the room from the entrance, so you have to walk through a dark room before you turn the light on or after you turn it off. You have no control over the heat, and we found it a bit...

「Buyer beware. Host assured 100% refund of 1 night of stay well prior to arrival but after several asks, gave only partial. Finally did refund only to remove it immediately and then stop communicating. At booking, the listing set up automatic late check out charge of 25. Unclear directions on how to enter the property. Repeatedly gave 2 different check out times throughout stay. Just frustrating. . . 」

「Since my review keeps getting denied I will have to put this very nicely . Stay somewhere else . The home is NOT equipped to sleep 6 people . I do not trust the host as far as the said “damage” report after my stay . Terrible experience. Unfinished floors are dangerous with bare feet . I was scolded for leaving crumbs in the sink … At night you can hear rodents chewing at the floors and walls . Hotel is worth the extra , definitely! Literally anywhere else . 」
