We found a place on the street at 4:30p and could keep car there until 11a next day at no cost. It was perfect for what we needed. Did a pub crawl and didn’t want to drive the hour home. We lucked out that our room was right across hall from bathroom for middle of the night visits. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I love the Norblad so much!!! I’ve been twice now and this time I splurged a bit and stayed in one of the astor suites in the other building! Everything was so clean and beautifully decorated! Highly recommend this place no matter your price range!! Even the economy room I stayed in last time was lovely!

Beautiful historical building. Our room was on the 8th floor which gave us an amazing view. We were fine not having a TV in the room but downtown storefronts closed at 5p and it was Saturday, which was a let down. The room was very clean and we were provided a couple of snacks with some bottled water and coffee for the morning. In our opinion the parking provided in the hotel’s parking lot should have been included in the price of the room instead of an extra $20 charge. There was quite a bit of street noise until early in the am but pulling the drapes seemed to block some of it out. They also provided ear plugs but we didnt really need them.

Fun and funky spot in an excellent location. This is a quirky hotel, some rooms have shared bathrooms, etc., but we booked a studio apartment style room with a full bathroom and kitchenette. Kitchen not well stocked -be sure you understand the rules and expectations regarding cooking in the unit ahead of time. We borrowed kitchen tools and made it work, so we were able to cook a couple of breakfasts and have leisurely coffee in our room. Fantastic view, we were in room 501. The location is perfect for walking to breweries, restaurants, and the Co-op. Appreciated how clean our room was when we arrived.

Room was very clean, had an amazing view, but lots of light came in through the over-door blurred glass. Kitchen was stocked with basic utensils, plates, cups, bowls, plus a bottle opener which was lovely. Though we had a stovetop and oven no pans were provided in the room though likely available on request. Microwave and fridge with freezer were also in the room. Overall a really nice place, just had trouble sleeping with the light that was getting in though if you’re able to sleep with an eye mask it should be ok.

A minimalist style hotel with a rich history! Rooms were clean, tidy and the ceiling fan was legit. One of the only points of contention would have to be the single pain windows which allowed for quite a bit of street noise and draftiness. Bathrooms were squeaky clean, with all basic amenities provided! Dope location, in the heart of Astoria, within walking distance of everything rad! Shout out to Galactix Arcade—“you’ll wonder, where the heck am I.” Overall, the Norblad was well worth the money. P.S. Sara Ann was the bomb!!!
