“Hotel owners, both husband and wife and their staff were really helpful and friendly. Property is really well maintained with diverse flowering plants and villa room we stayed in is very spacious and clean. Even though it is still the wet season, temperature was really pleasant and A/C wasn’t needed to sleep well. Very peaceful environment and walking distance to town square. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to getaway and relax.”

“Amazing value for one night’s stay. I checked in late and the concierge was professional and patient. He kindly offered to pack a breakfast for me, as the complimentary shuttle bus pick up was at 5am and breakfast is served at 6am. That thoughtful gesture meant everything.
The room was spacious and clean. Best sleep I had on my 10 day trip. Felt refreshed and ready for my 5 hour flight home.

“Only 30 min from the airport, up in the coffee covered hills above the very vibrant Alajuela neighborhood, is the best, not too expensive hotel in San Jose. Wonderful staff, beautiful grounds and gardens, nice food and a very relaxing setting. We really enjoy spending our last night, after puddle jumping and before getting on that big old jet liner, just decompressing in affordable luxury. Go there, you'll be glad you did.”
