Great home - bad neighborhood
The home itself is very pretty, clean, and well maintained.
It is in a gated area which gives some sense of security from the neighborhood, which is NOT good. Many boarded up homes, people walking to the corner stores at all areas.
However, The security gates do not always work well and we were unable to exit from some of the walk through gates. We witnessed 3 males jumping the fence into the complex on our Uber home one evening.
A Walmart (and all that comes with it)is directly behind the home.
Patricia was nice and seemed concerned we felt so unsafe, but nothing could be done about the location.
Note: had another booking in a better location that cancelled (by property owner) last minute and this was the only replacement property VRBO would approve for rebooking at the same rate.
