地點方便，去市中心好多景點步行可達，不過停車場收費高一些，要30紐元一個晚。在預訂時沒有注明是要收費。而且車位很少，夜了回來可能無位泊車。

Great location as it is only a 15 min walk into the CBD. Rooms are very outdated, Restaurant happy hour is priced good however food was horrible.

Booked a suite for a night in Auckland, and was a bit skeptical after reading reviews about the Copthorne. At check-in the reception girl barely said two words apart from telling me what floor & room # we had. No warm welcome, or enjoy your stay & said nothing when we checked out. The whole place is in desperate need of a refurb, it’s looking very shabby & the level of house keeping is pretty bad. There was still debris on the floors in places in our room & the kitchen rubbish bin hadn’t been emptied. The best part about the stay was the comfortable bed & good pillows, nothing much else. Wouldn’t recommend unless you are after a budget stay in a run down hotel.

The photos are of the room from 20 years ago. Everything is well worn, the carpets and walls are marked and grimy from age. The shower head is full of lime scale. The continental breakfast costs $35 and most of it is cold and hard. There were ants all over the table in the dining restusrant area. The sheets were clean and for convenience to spark arena are good, but copthorne needs to be honest that the place is not like the photos. Be prepared to pay premium for not a lot. If the photos reflected the room I wouldnt be so disappointed and would still use for convenience to spark, but the image portrayed versus what is actually available and the $$$, is disingenuous and fraudulent. Plus cant get past the ants everywhere. YUCK! My friends room was in a worse state.
