Orlando Audubon Center for Birds of Prey Hotels

"This hotel needs a massive renovation! It's old and run down, probably was new about 35-40 years ago. You can move the shower head arm around in the wall, and the tubs are cracked. It took 20 minutes to get luke warm water. On the upside, the staff was wonderful and the free breakfast was great! The bar needs to open new bottles of wine every 5 days or so. "

"I stayed 4 nights in this hotel and it wasn’t anything like my experience in Nov when I also stayed there and had a great time. First of all my bedsheet had a blood stain and looked worn, I requested to have it changed but no response till I left. Then my toilet clogged and even though I reported it three times to the front desk, it took them almost 14 hours to come and fix it . I complained and requested to have my room changed but was told the hotel was full and I would be on a waitlist and of course they never called me. The offered me a complimentary breakfast for all my trouble, imagine that! For the traumatic experience of not being able to use my own toilet for over 12 hours. That weekend the hotel was so rowdy perhaps because of spring break but the ladies guest toilet on the ground floor was stinking. This was inexcusable for a hotel of that standard. Needless to say I am extremely disappointed "

"Place looked like a ghetto and the people sraying too is old, outfstex a weird things goung on like an old employee couple that I gueds does maintenance seemed to be bringing stuff from inside to their gray SUV car, the front desk a mess the employees at front desk not even presentable and a group of men that looked like gangsters on premises interacting and talking and walking back and forth weird! The room was clean though! The lock be on door did t feel safe!"

"The Park Plaza Hotel is over 100 years old, therefore the bathrooms are small and basic. The rooms have original dark woodwork and are walls are painted white to add brightness. The beds were very comfortable with very nice linens. There is an old fashioned elevator with a gate as well as a solid door, fun to get on and off! The lobby is right out of the roaring twenties. The staff was efficient and welcoming. Valet parking is the best option in downtown Winter Park. We loved our stay!"

"There is no oven. They do not provide pots/pans or any other kind of dishes and you have to purchase them. They do not provide breakfast. My aunt came to visit and was severely sick from a bad allergy attack which lets me know they do not deep clean their rugs or rooms on a daily basis (aunt is allergic to dogs).Pillows are uncomfortable and the blankets are really thin. I'm also claustrophobic so the window's not being be to open is a big NO for me."

"You get what u pay for overcharched at 120 a night as cockroaches were plentiful. Avoid tjis place. The staff was awesome. Cockroaches galore"
