Excellent for family and friends!

We had a wonderful trip, the kitchen is fully stocked with tons of kitchen tools, 2 slow cookers, etc! Cooking basics were available, soaps, dishwasher pods etc! The rooms were great! The playroom was amazing for all the kids! We had a wonderful time and will be back!

80th birthday getaway with family, fall season

We had 13 people and 2dogs stay at this beautiful home. Kitchen fully equipped and accommodating. Beds were clean and very comfortable. The house was very comfortable and great for everyone to enjoy

Absolutely Gorgeous Stay

I stayed here with a bunch of 30 something women for a quiet bachelorette. The fall foliage was jaw-dropping. The house was immaculate. It has many places to have quiet conversation, but also large, open spaces for a crowd. I can’t recommend this place enough!

annual ski weekend

This was our 3rd stay at Sunny Pond and it did not disappoint! Between the lovely kitchen, multiple loungy gathering spots and close proximity to Great Barrington, you cannot go wrong staying in this house. Homeowner is very easy to deal with and very accommodating. I have no doubt we will be back next year!

Magical Stay!

Our three families (6 adults, 10 kids under 12) stayed at Sunny Pond for a week. The house is enormous and there was plenty of room for us to be together in the fully-stocked kitchen, and space for us to spread out for the kids to watch movies while the grownups watched the sunset with cocktails on the porch. The owner was very helpful and responsive to questions, and it felt like we were staying in a friend's home. We would love to come back next summer!

Simply Amazing

We have used VRBO all over the world, and this was hands down the greatest house we have stayed in. The attention to detail was fantastic. Had we known the property was this amazing, we would have booked the whole week. Thank you for the perfect weekend.

Great Vacation in the Berkshires

This house is a great house for a vacation. The owner and the house manager could not have been any nicer to deal with. The house was beautiful, clean and had everything a family needed for any age group. There was a swing set for our grandchildren, a play room and a game room for them. The adults had great rooms to relax, cook and the outside had a pond, and a breath taking environment to enjoy the outside. If your family is looking for a wonderful place to enjoy their vacation, this is the place for you.

Stunning House and Property

The pictures don't do this house and the property justice. This place is wonderful. It feels like you're right at home but also on a luxury vacation. We loved floating in the (very large) pond. We were 12 friends spending a weekend together and everyone was blown away. Can't wait to come back with our kids someday!

Relaxing retreat

Our family has stayed here annually (minus CoVid 2020) for 7 years and love it. We continue to enjoy the large kitchen and dining areas. We never are on top of each other, many nooks to go take a nap. Each year Randi has added more amenities for everyone to enjoy! We all look forward to visiting each year. Large groups are never an issue here, lots of room to enjoy ! We highly recommend Sunny Pond for your vacation

Absolutely amazing!

Sunny Pond is an exceptional property. Beautiful setting and wonderful house. Everything you could possibly need to have a family vacation. We spent endless days swimming in the pond, and using rafts and pedal boat. The kitchen is huge and has all the necessary cooking pots, utensils etc. Grill worked great. Plenty of nooks inside to sit and relax, and outdoor seating on both sides of house were great.

Amazing Stay at Sunny Pond!

This was our second weekend stay at Sunny Pond for a group of friends (late 30s adults with children all 1 - 10 years of age). We had a terrific experience - it is an incredible property - private, beautiful, amazing pond, great playground for kids, firepit, etc. The house itself is huge and lovely with plenty of space for a large group to spread out and come together. The enormous kitchen has everything you would need to cook with. Randi (the host) has incredible communication and left great welcome gifts for us. We can't wait for our trip to Sunny Pond next year!

Great home for larger groups

We all had the best time at sunny pond. The house is spacious with everything you need and the views to the pond are stunning. All our family and friends were so impressed with the property and the pond was perfect for keeping cool in the hot weather.. The island with the fire pit was entertaining in the evening and we had the best time! We are thinking about staying again next year with friends. Randi was great, very accommodating and helpful. We highly recommend Sunny Pond to any groups or large families looking for a. spectacular but homely retreat!

AMAZING Home in Berkshires!!

Two families (four adults, 5 children) spent the 4-day Thanksgiving holiday weekend at Randi's home, and it was perfect! The home itself is enormous, immaculate, with a perfect layout, and all the amazing touches (kitchen stocked, game room and playroom for kids, home gym, working fireplaces and wood, etc.). The property is even more special: breathtaking pond right out back with small private island and fire-pit, set against the afternoon sun and sunset. Even a grill out back with patio that we used as well. Best VRBO we've ever been to, and we can't wait to return.

Great place for a family getaway

House was immaculate and very gracious. We were three families with adult children and spouses, there was plenty of room for everyone The description of the sleeping arrangements was a little confusing. There’s a main house with four bedrooms, three very comfortable for couples, one best for a single adult. Then, there’s a second wing over the garage that had three comfortable bedrooms for couples. In addition there was an optional guest house with two more bedrooms. All very nice and comfortable. Randi was a great host, very accommodating. Highly recommended!

Five Stars Plus!

We had the most wonderful long weekend at Sunny Pond! We were a large family group and the house and property offered something for everyone. The grounds are magnificent and the home beautifully decorated. It is immaculate with many different rooms that flow throughout. The kitchen is huge and gorgeous. (The playroom and game room were a big hit with the kids) The pictures do not do the property and home justice. Thank you Randi. We can't wait to return to Sunny Pond!

Outstanding Home

What a warm welcome we received as we arrived mid afternoon with luscious sandwiches, salads, desserts, condiments, and beverages to welcome we travelers. Amazing spread! We were worried about not having a pool for grandkids, but they loved the pond; kids raced their remote controlled boats, balance boats, kayaks, floats, etc. The house was gorgeous and we loved the professional kitchen that was so well stocked, the only item we brought was our coffee grinder. Beds all very comfortable and the house was stocked with everything you could need. The view of the water and surrounding mountains was stunning. Thank you for sharing your home with our family.

Beautiful house for the family in the Berkshires

This was our second stay at Sunny Pond. Our family had a fabulous time. The house is magnificent! Outside there is a large pond with a paddle boat, an island with a fire pit (great for smores!), and lots of rafts, as well as a playground. Indoors, the kids loved the playroom downstairs and ping pong area upstairs. The dining area can accommodate a large group. There are numerous seating areas. The bedrooms are divided among two main areas of the house. It is a wonderful setting for a family to enjoy time in the Berkshires. Tanglewood is about 20 minutes away. The host is very responsive to any requests. We hope to return to Sunny Pond next summer.

Stunning and Spacious Home for a Weekend with Family

We arrived knowing we had reached perfection. Randi has a stunning home on a beautiful piece of property in the Berkshires. We had only 11 people in the main home, but it didn't feel too large or too small. The kitchen is phenomenal (this is the place where our family loves to gather and spend the most time together!). The master bath is also absolutely amazing. Really, every part of this home is awesome - we took advantage of the entire house and property during our stay - solid workout room, beautiful walks right on the property, lovely fireplaces, the list could go on and on! There are also some great grocery stores in the area - we would highly recommend Guidos for some really nice specialty items! We truly had the most perfect weekend with our family.

The Best of Country Living

Our multi-generational family stay at Sunny Pond was picture-perfect! Randi was a responsive and thoughtful host. The house is everything promised and so much more, beautifully and comfortably furnished, with spacious rooms and large windows that bring in all the light and luscious scenery. My children all loved the inspiring chef's kitchen, and our meals were enhanced by fresh produce and meat from local farmers' markets. And my grandchildren loved the enclosed outdoor playground--but especially the pond itself. All three generations enjoyed swimming, fishing and boating in the water--and watching for deer, frogs, turtles and other wildlife on the property and throughout the lovely local landscape. We couldn't ask for a more enchanting setting than Sunny Pond, and hope to return again and again!

Family Birthday Celebration

Run don't walk to Sunny Pond!!! The photos of Sunny Pond online are perfect and accurate, however driving onto the property and seeing the pond and house for the first time is breathtaking. There is a peace and serenity surrounding you as well as the beauty of the property. There were 10 of us and there was plenty of room. The kitchen is a dream and very well equipped from utensils, cutting boards, knives, glassware, dinnerware, platters, bowls , etc. You name it and it's there for your use. The gym is so well equipped and the children's play area would be any child's dream. Let's not forget the pool table on the third floor!! Outdoor seating in both front and back of house is lovey and comfortable. The pond is beautiful as well as the island with a fire pit where we were able to toast marshmallows. We will be back!!!!

Long awaited family get together

This was the first time in a long time that three generations were able to get together for a family reunion. The pictures do not do justice to this exceptionally beautiful property. The house is magnificently appointed with a large kitchen with three ovens and a microwave and two dishwashers which we put good use. There is a wonderful playroom which our grandchildren greatly enjoyed between the Legos, the books, the toys and artwork. The teen lounge with a ping-pong table and an arcade style Pac-Man also got a good amount of use. The bedrooms were lovely especially the master bedroom and bath which were quite spacious. there was plenty of space for our whole group to gather together, infants from nine months up to grandparents, but also plenty of smaller areas where one could find a spot to just relax. My personal favorite was the second floor balcony where my husband and I would sit later in the evening and Watch the darkness unfold. A pond with a scenic bridge going to what our grandchildren dubbed “cousins island “ with a fire pit was much enjoyed. There were a few maintenance issues but Chris the caretaker was extremely efficient and friendly in getting things sorted. The owner was extremely accessible throughout our stay and lovely to deal with. We enjoyed the Party boat and the paddle boat. There were numerous floats and safety vests for a variety of ages and sizes. I can’t more highly recommend this stunning location than to say we are strongly considering returning to it for a future stay.

Lovely, secluded home

We were a group of 9 girls visiting in the winter for a secluded getaway. We wanted to rest and relax after the holidays. The house was very large and accommodated our entire party comfortably. Notably, the house is not your typical bare bones vacation property. For example, the beds were comfortable and had real pillows. It is clearly used by the owners and well-loved. We hired chefs for all of our meals and the kitchen had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this property for large groups and families. I hope to come back with my family in the summer, because it would be a perfect vacation spot for a large family (or multiple families) with kids of all ages. Check in and check out were easy peasy. The property is absolutely beautiful.
