“The resort is a new, bright rising star in Sonoma. Beautiful amenities, consummated design, top-notch restaurant, and excellent staff shift the hospitality standards in the wine county even higher. Things that impressed us: attention from the personal from the very first moment, restaurant menu, wine list, and cuisine level, furniture in the room and common areas, fantastic breakfast. We learned that the resort opened just four months ago, and they are getting ready for another summer season.……

We arrived early for our check-in, so one of three rooms was available which was fine. The rooms were large but had a musty smell when we entered. The bed was comfortable, but most of the amenities are dated. That said, this was meant to be a “lodge”, so our expectations may have been too high.
