Practically Perfect

The property was spacious, clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and a very short drive to anywhere we wanted to go. Would book again. Lovely!

Very disappointed with our stay. On the first night, a member of our group was awoken by a cockroach on them while sleeping. It took hours to reach the owner or the property’s contracted support team.One we got in touch, we provided clear photos and explained that we didn’t feel comfortable continuing our stay due to cleanliness concerns. We requested a refund to relocate, but the host declined explaining that roaches are common in Austin and arranged for an exterminator instead. While we appreciated the effort, treatments don’t resolve cockroach issues immediately.After a point, the host stopped responding to our texts and calls. We only heard back the next day through the VRBO portal stating that no additional roaches were found and were offered a small discount. The property itself had positives like a well-stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, and a convenient location. However, those were overshadowed by the pest issue and the host’s lack of responsiveness. We had hoped for more empathy and understanding.

Great spot

Great location off South Lamar that allows you quick access to majority of the city. Near a lot of fun things, but very quiet and separate.

The property was perfect for a gathering with my family in the area. Plenty of room for visiting, cooking and watching TV. The kitchen was well supplied. We went outside for part of our meal; I had to clean off the table and sweep the patio area. The outside lights never came on. The other problem was parking. The very narrow drive with the bushes was difficul to navigate. Instructions for the AC would have been appreciated also.

Location was phenomenal and the house has fantastic natural sunlight. I would stay there again. Only thing that could have been improved was that the backyard patio was covered with leaves but the photos online made it appear clean and ready.
