Really loved staying here! Very comfortable and clean. Especially loved the screened in porch and a coffee shop so close we walked to get our morning cup.

Great Austin rental

The property was perfectly located for our needs--very near our daughter's house. The house was super clean, well decorated, and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will use this house again if it is available. Loved the screened in porch!!

As expected

Stay was as expected. Management was responsive. Best part was the patio. Location is nice - can walk to coffee shop and bars. Only complaint is that they make you turn the air up, so it took a good few hours for the place to cool down given the house is older and it was like 100 degrees outside, which makes sense… but no complaints outside of that. Feel it was a good place to stay for the price point.

Hyde Park Hideaway

I was in Austin to move my adult son. The location was very near where my son was moving and to where my daughter already lives. It was a quiet street but within walking distance to lots of cute shops, bars, and restaurants. The house itself, was even better than expected! So cozy and charming with plenty of room for my family. We enjoyed the covered patio and the outdoor seating as well. I would definitely stay here again!

Hyde Park area of Austin

The property is close to everything in Austin in a typical eclectic near to downtown neighborhood. The house was clean and recently upgraded and had plenty of room for my wife and 8 year old grand daughter. While the combo to the front door didn't work, VRBO was quick to answer the phone and remotely unlock the door. But we didn't receive a working combo until the next day. The HVAC had a smart thermostat that we and the care taker couldn't figure out until the next day and it was a cold night. We would stay there again because of the location and now we know how to work the thermostat.

For the purpose of reconnecting with old friends after moving away from Texas two years ago the location was perfect. I would caution to anyone considering this rental who has mobility challenges that the three front steps up to the porch don’t have a handrail. Otherwise the property is great.

The house was nice. I did not like how they charge 27 per hour for early check-in. We have stayed in several VRBO's and never encountered this. To me, that is"nickel and diming."
