The location was good for centralized access.The overall apartment is very cheap and some fixtures were worn down (ie furniture). To the naked eye, the apartment was clean. However it was things like the comforter, vents and behind closets that were not so clean or didn’t work (ie a few electrical outlets). Unfortunately, the closet to furnace had black mold which originally made for a challenging stay. Luckily, maintenance came and cleaned it out fairly quickly. Host was responsive and did his best to ameliorate these situations.I understand it was SXSW week and so it was likely louder than normal. But it was noisy a few nights as the walls are thin. I had to tell a neighbor to turn down his music.The showerhead was strong and hot water worked well.

This property is not worth the money. Its a decent place, but not worth what I paid. The mattress is hard as a rock. All the furniture is very flimsy. The end of the couch was messed up and we were afraid to even sit on that end. The couch itself had almost no padding on it. The screen door to the patio was broken and laying on the patio. Speaking of the patio, you get a great view of a parking garage. Vehicles were racing up and down it all night revving their engines and purposely making loud noises. We could not hear the tv. Also, someone was using a leaf blower going through the parking garage at 11:30 at night. Perhaps trying to clean it? The outlets in the dining room didn't work. The a/c took forever to cool the apartment down and was flashing with a red warning light. The kitchen drawers were messed up and did not open properly. There was no ice (or even ice cube trays to make ice) in the freezer. There was one extra pillow and zero extra blankets or comforters. If you want to wash your hair in the shower, I hope you are only about 4 feet tall. The shower head is only about 4 feet off the ground. Also, there was no mention that this apartment was on the 3rd floor. My gf has heart issues and does not do steps very well. This would have been good to know ahead of time. Its not a terrible place. But it's not worth what they are charging.
