We loved our two nights there. The room was large and comfortable. Having a sofa in front of a large TV separate from the bed area was great!. The restaurant on the main floor was delicious. And it was convenient. Didn't try the bar but it looked like a comfortable place.

The desk manager was on duty for the majority of our stay, she was so helpful! Gave us recommendations on places to eat. Warmed us about a protest going on in the city. The other desk staff were also very kind. The room was absolutely beautiful! We were upgraded to a King at no cost. Complementary waters, a $15 credit per night for their snack/drink station (perfect for my mid-night snacking partner). The valet staff was so friendly and accommodating. This is the place to stay if you are going to down town Austin. It was walking distance to all of the events and restaurants we wanted to try!

The room was on the smaller side, and while dated because of the building you could tell there is a high level of care for the rooms and the common areas. The fitness center is pretty good, well equipped and the swimming pool was nice. The only downside I saw was the price of the breakfast, this is even more expensive than a full dinner at the Roaring Fork restaurant that is attached to the hotel!
