「Had a lovely stay at Windsor cottage. Well presented, great amenities and the most comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Slept like a log! Ate out in local restaurants, which were lovely especially Alberto’s Italy. There are a couple of free parking areas in town 5-10 minutes away. We had several pleasant and informative conversations with them while there for one night. They provided a wonderful breakfast for us prior to our departure. The rooms and bathrooms were nice. We had dinner which was very tasty just could of done with more of it small portions. We took our dog for a walk around the grounds in the morning and it’s stunning! "We happened to stay during a heatwave. The room had no air conditioning, only a fan. The room was spacious but really needs an update. The corners of the bed and the duvet cover were torn. The wallpaper was also peeling. The bathroom renovation was acceptable. Breakfast was in buffet style but the refills were too slow—there was nothing left to eat and all the juices ran out."
