Super well equipped, comfortable, clean, and with marvelous decoration. The area where the house is located is absolutely stunning. “Cannot fault this lovely hotel. Just wanted to comment, to be patient with food order. We arrived at 7.30pm, staff where clearly busy, there was also a wedding in the venue. We where not served our starters until 9pm and deserts till after 10pm with a young family this was obviously not ideal. I must comment all food (apart from veggie option) was very good.”

“This was a lovely night to stay for us. We appreciated the grounds, the food and the friendly staff! We walked to town for supper after we got checked in. We would stay again for sure and loved your black dog.”

“Lovely stay at lord Beganals. The property is fabulous tastefully decorated and beautiful fresh flowers in the lobby. Staff are very friendly special mention to Karen and Kay breakfast team !! Food in restaurant also delicious and freshly prepared very efficient even though it was very busy Sleepy little village with lovely walk along the river If you want to make this place even more special consider adding a spa or pool. No matter we’ll be back 💚”

“Having a bar/restaurant on-site was very helpful. Parking was free and convenient. Only downfall is that the TV didn't work well at all and the location was a bit away from city centre, but that wasn't a huge priority for me. Breakfast was delicious”

“The guesthouse is nice enough but the staff were standoffish to begin with. There was an unexpected extra charge for my dog to stay. They had their large dogs roaming freely, which was intimidating to nervous dogs on leads. The shower in our room was old and complicated to use. I forgot an expensive orthopaedic pillow at the guesthouse and requested it to be sent to me. The owner assured me he had it, charged me €35 and sent an old battered cushion with no cover at a cost of €9. Overall the stay……
