Clara and German are wonderful hosts. Very friendly and helpful!! The room is clean and comfortable. And, the breakfast is awesome. We recommend anyone who visits Ireland should stay here for one or more nights to enjoy relaxing trips in the countryside.

We really enjoyed our stay. Clara amd her husband made us very welcome. Our room was spacious with comfortable beds and was spotless. Breakfast was delicious and Clara even made us a take away breakfast as we left early in the morning. Set in a beautiful location. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Comfortable short stay

On arrival Clara welcomed us and we talked for a long time. She showed us our room and where we could get tea and coffe and took our orders for breakfast. There was a lounge downstairs you could sit to watch tv and have your tea/coffee.Breakfast had a wide choice to choose from.

The perfect B&B 5* Service and Quality

We had the perfect stay in the Madra Rua and everything was perfect. The hosts were amazing and could not do enough for us. The breakfast was like no other and we absolutely recommend this B&B 5* all round. Photo is the view from the breakfast room.

I can't find a fault with anything about my Stay even if I wanted to, from the moment we arrived until the moment we left it was excellent, comfortable beds, clean, tidy, hosts were best I've ever experienced, I would definitely have no hesitation in staying again, and would recommend madra rua to anyone.

We had a wonderful one night stay at Madra Rua in Ballyliffin room. The room was a good size with lovely sheets and towels. The owners are a lovely couple who also suggested we have dinner at Simpsons which was a good choice. Breakfast at Madra Rua was a hearty Spanish omelette and pancakes with fresh fruit served in a charming room. Highly recommended.

I stayed for 1 night at Madra Rua and the place was excellent. The owners were fantastic and done anything they could to make you comfortable and welcome. The breakfast was lovely and fresh and there were plenty of choices. I would recommend staying here if you are in the area exploring the North coast of Ireland as i was. Its rural and safe which i needed as a lone traveller on a motorbike. The everlasting memory for me will be the hospitality of both Clara and Germãn which was second to none, oh, and not forgetting the home made muffins. Love from Scotland, Stevie

Loved our stay.

We loved our stay at Madra Rua. Everything about it is excellent...the room, the organic bedding and toiletries, the breakfast and of course the friendly hosts. Couldn't have been better

The room with immaculate, the hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. Made us feel at home. Gave us some tips on where we should go. We would have missed some amazing places if we had not talked to Magdalena about it. Even though we got their late in the evening she offered us tea or coffee and sat down and talk to us about what we wanted to do and what we were going to see. Breakfast was also amazing. The only thing wrong is we didn't stay long enough.

Lovely stay in scenic area

Bed and breakfast accommodation outside Ballyliffin in an area of scenic beauty. Wonderful hosts who repeatedly checked if there was anything they could do. Appreciated tea and muffin on arrival. Good breakfast each morning. My room a double twin had a private external bathroom. The accommodation was spotless.
