The location is rural yet only 1.5hrs from Dijon and the Burgundy wine region is on the doorstep. The hot tub and sauna are a wonderful way to relax overlooking the river. The host was helpful."

"Beautiful little gite in a very quiet, rural part of burgundy. Perfect for peace and quiet, but plenty to see and do within an hours drive. Gite was lovely and clean, with a well equipped kitchen. Geneviève and Laurent are lovely, and the perfect hosts. Thoroughly recommended."

The two houses have been lovingly restored in keeping with the period of the property which made for an extravagant setting for us. "Property is quite beautiful in a shabby chic kind of way, although the ground is relatively small. Food is decent, but nothing too memorable. We didn’t realise it has a Michelin star, so decided to pay the premium as we didn’t want to go out after a long drive from Calais. Restaurant service was not great to be honest, we had to keep asking for our wine glass to be replenished, even though they didn’t seem to be short of staff. "
