"The hotel is not a mere typical hotel but including Japanese elements and so on.
You can have amazing Chinese cuisine at dinner and great traditional local food at breakfast at the restaurant.
There is a oxygen capsule, corridor decorated with colorful paint, hot spring(not gorgeous) and sauna- tents(outside, option).

"Due to the weather (snowing 🌨️ ), I could not explore the nearby places but I really enjoyed staying and relaxing this place.
Hot springs were amazing! And wonderful diner and breakfast!! I ate too much on the trip prior to this place and problem finishing my plates😭 I wanted to eat them all since looked and tasted superior… just my stomach could not take them.
So I have to go back again someday in better condition!"
"The staff was friendly and professional! The hired personnel really makes this place! The rooms are a little dated but it just adds to the charm of the experience. I enjoyed staying here and would recommend! The women onsen was also great and super relaxing! "
"The hotel is old, but nonetheless in a good shape. The service nice, and easy to reach the train station. And if you like to walk, its somewhat easy to get around"

"The hotel is situated in a beautiful location, surrounded by nature (if you don’t have a car then it takes a couple of hours to see the local sights).
The rooms are traditional with great views, and super authentic.
The set dinners and breakfasts are the best I’ve had, and were something to look forward to.
There is a selection of onsens including the opportunity to hire private ones for those who aren’t confident of sharing more public pools.
A highlight of the trip so far"
"The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with very fast internet. The onsen has indoor and outdoor option also with Sauna room--also very clean and all-natural hot springs. The half-board dinner and breakfast were also delicious and well-prepared. This hotel staff also provided us with best-in-class service. Parking lot was very large with ample room for its guests. We had a great time and would return in the fall. Thank you for the incredible experience!!!"
"Hotspring was very nice. I didnt stay due to the skiing aspect. But they are well equipped for it. Great quality of food for their breakfast and supper buffets. The staff were very kind even though i dont speak a lot of japanese. "
"Lovely onsens on top floor, nice spacious warm change rooms, nice relaxing lobby/lounge area, exceptional dinner, traditional Japanese with a touch western fusion and nice helpful staff.
It was winter so it was cold to walk around, would love to come back Spring or Autumn "
"The room was on the top floor overlooking the lake but the trees blocked most of the view. The size of the room was good and the bed was comfortable. It would have been good to have smaller pillows available in the room. I ended up rolling up a towel to make a smaller pillow. Meals were included in the stay and there was plenty of variety.
Only real bummer is that I think I left my Prescription Progressive Glasses in the room and can't get anyone to pick up the phones & check!"
