This hotel is a really good choice for families with kids like ourselves. The hotel has many facilities for children such as: petting zoo, kids spa, indoor and outdoor playground, kids swimming pool, kids cooking class, etc. The hotel staff is also very friendly and helpful

Great breakfast but bad parking space

Parking space is limited. The valet service rather slow in response. The room door too thin. The wall between room also too thin. The chair in the room was broken. Had to ask for replacement. The real plus is the variety of breakfast. As for comfort, needs quiet a few improvement

Hotel was bad. Sheets had stains on them. Toilet was making a sound the whole night. Hair everywhere. Room was not cleaned very well. Staying for one night is okay, but not for very long. Would not recommend going to this hotel.

AVOID AT ALL COST! Don't let the reviews fool you. I booked a family room for 5 nights. When we arrived, the hotel lobby was still ok. Check in was smooth. However, after being given my room, everything went downhill. After getting out of the lift at level 3, the first thing that caught my attention was the dirty carpet. We had to walk quite a distance to our room and throughout the corridor that we walked, all we could see was the stained carpet. When we first entered the room, we were greeted by a foul smell. The carpet in the room was badly stained as well. The bedsheets and towels were dirty and stained too. The toilet had foul smell as well especially at the sink area. The floor next to the toilet bowl had black stains on them. The walls were in bad condition and the toilet bowl was dirty as well. We couldn't see at night as for some reason, we could hear birds chirping outside the window throughout the night. The next morning, one of us woke up with rashes due to the dirty bedsheets in the morning. We decided to check out after 1 night stay due to this bad experience and had requested for a partial refund through Expedia but was told that the hotel management refuse to approve the refund. My advice is NOT to be swayed by the 3 beds provided for the family room as the actual live-in condition is the total opposite as the photos seen on booking applications. At check out, the manager refused to meet me to hear my concerns and messages left unanswered!

What a great place to stay for your family

It was an amazing experience. I stayed at family suite. The room was very large with 1king size and 2queen size bed. It also has a very large tub and shower that you can choose for your preferences. All the amenities provided including the towel provided was very hygienic. It was wrapped up in a seal plastic bag. If you have kids this is definitely a place to stay. On

Lovely grand hotel with spacious room and comfortable bed. Breakfast was an array of foods from different countries! Spoilt for choice each morning! Enjoyed very much the Indonesian cuisine while my partner enjoyed the European breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food at the restaurant was great, too. For a Grand hotel, could do with extra comforts like hand towels in the bathroom and an extra toilet roll provided each day. The size of the toilet roll provided, was just sufficient each day for the two of us. The grout in shower area was filthy on arrival - pointed it out to services, and was much improved after cleaning. On the whole we had a wonderful experience, and would come back again.

Comfortable stay in family suite

Stayed here with 4 friends in a family suite (1 queen size bed and 2 single beds) during the Ramadan period. Buffet spread had wide variety. Service was impeccable, staff very friendly. Help provided via the reception whenever we needed more information for tourist attractions such as Keraton Cliff or Hot Spring. Hotel is also very environmentally conscious with regards to linen and towel usage. Of course, that being said, they are flexible and cater to your needs. Pool, fitness centre, spa and a mini zoo in a separate building next door. Very family friendly. A 10-min walk away from Rumah Mode as well as Cihampelas Walk (Shopping Mall).

Awesome! Perfect hotel to stay 👍

+ the local area (cihampelas, abt 10mins walk to ciwalk area) + room size is spacious + the room is clean, tidy + the reception staff were friendly + breakfast was good! A lot of variety food to choose (During my stay, the hotel gave 2 timing for breakfast, 1st start from 6am - 9am, 2nd timing start at 9am - 11am) + they have rooftop swimming pool (not that big tho, but just nice) + also got mini zoo (best for family trip with kids) + value for money - so far, nothing. I enjoyed my stay in Grand Tjokro.. recommended hotel to stay for couple, &/ family with kids.

I used to stay at Grand Tjokro a lot when it was still called Clarity. It's not bad, but I am not impressed The sensor for access on the door was not installed. The toilet was clogged. The unpleasant smell in the bathroom The room was clean and tidy. The staff was friendly, however a lot of young 'kids' in their staff. It looks like an internship or work and learn hotel. The food selection from the breakfast was really good, however a lot of the warm dishes were too cold(nasi, noodels, etc)

Housekeeping service standard was poor. We had to keep requesting for hand towels. Room was not well cleaned on checkin. A sandal from previous guest was not removed during the 3 days we stayed there. However, the concierge and reception People were friendly and helpful.
