This is a very new hotel with excellent facilities and a great accommodation environment. Compared to some older hotels, it offers exceptional value for money. The hotel features hot water pools (not sure if they are hot springs), but the design and facilities are significantly better than the famous Upper Hot Springs. Built against the mountain, the hotel appears to have four separate buildings, but they are conveniently connected by a corridor on the fourth floor. Located at the entrance of the town, it is right across from a gas station, a convenience store, and a fast-food restaurant that stays open until 10 PM. The restaurant on the first floor of the hotel is decent. Dinner portions are generous, though the variety is limited. Breakfast, however, requires a longer wait. The staff are friendly and approachable. Overall, this hotel provided a great accommodation experience.

We had a fantastic stay in Banff and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always available whenever we needed anything. They went out of their way to be accommodating and made us feel genuinely taken care of throughout our stay. The location is excellent, everything is close by and very convenient, which made getting around effortless. Parking was easy, safe, and hassle free, which is a big plus in a busy area like Banff. Overall, a smooth, comfortable, and highly enjoyable stay. We would absolutely come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The hotel is very nice but had a few disappointments. The creamer in the bag unfortunately leaked all over our filters on the way to our room. The front end staff at check in was fairly unenthusiastic The biggest upset was the mattresses, they were hard as rocks and the blankets are very thin.

Great property. The location is on the edge of the town but they offer a bus ticket and it is walkable. I loved the balcony. The hot tub area is lovely and you use both this hotel and the Otter. The coffee is a drip coffee but very nice ,I did find it hard to keep warm after as there is no lid for the carafe. I found the bed very uncomfortable. The pillows were hard and there seemed to be a plastic mattress pad that impacted the comfort of the bed . Overall a very nice hotel.

We loved this hotel. Nina, at the front desk, greets you so warmly. She made our stay that much more special. The pour over coffee, the views, roof top patio, and Suddenly Sally all elavated our stay. We will be back.

Amazing, clean, perfect set up. The only thing is the air conditioner/heater is located right by the bed so if you want it going through the night it runs right into someone’s face… we got used to turning it off but because we went in March we woke cold, in the morning.

What a treat to stay at the Hotel Canoe and Suites for our ski trip in early March. Clean, comfortable, and the view room was absolutely worth it! The hot pools were a welcome relief after a day skiing. We liked the quiet location at the east end of town. We will stay here again on our next trip to Banff.
