Nice place

This unit is great. The floors were dirty, dishwasher hadn't been emptied and some of the linens weren't super clean, but the location is great and we had a fantastic time.

The home was very clean and cozy. The view was absolutely beautiful. As in the other reviews the stairs are steep. I would definitely stay there again!

Great location for skiing Beech Mountain

The home is spacious and can sleep plenty of people if you're looking to do a ski trip. It's close to the slopes. The wood burning fireplace is a nice amenity. The bathrooms and kitchen have been nicely updated.

Beautiful home and the best stay!

We had room for all of our guest! The three full bathrooms was a plus for showering and no waiting. The home was clean, decorated nicely and had all the necessities you would ever need! Can we talk about the view! The large glass windows in the living provided amazing views and the porch with the rocking chairs was right outside of the living room providing comfort and excellent views! We were able to check in, enjoy our stay and check out with no issues. We had a great stay and will visit again!

Great property. Very clean, well appointed home

I can fully recommend this home but with a few reservations as noted below. The house was very clean. Entrance into the house requires navigating outside stairs but very easy to do so. Coded lock on the doors worked. Upon entry to th emain floor, you'll notice the living room is very comfortable with updated and quality furniture. High quality TV with streaming. Very nice dining area. Kitchen is small but there is ample room for one person to do the cooking. Two people and it gets tight. Not a lot of counter space to prep food so be aware if you plan to do a big meal. Lots of dishes, pots, pans, etc. Updated high quality appliances. All bedrooms are downstairs which requires navigating two sets of steep and narrow stairs. If you have small children then this is a drawback because it'll be very hard to carry them up and down the tight stairs. I'd also say to consider the stairs as a significant drawback if you have family that have mobility issues. Bedrooms are very comfortable. Beds are high quality. Ample supply of linens. Washer and dryer are updated. One small bathroom is downstairs so most likely you'll want to divide up with some using the upstairs bathroom/shower. Wireless works throughout the house but it's not high speed. If you're a remote worker then know that you're going to struggle with the wifi speed. The deck faces west and there are incredible sunsets to be experienced. Parking is ample and easy. Again, I highly recommend this house with the concerns as noted.

Amazing Place!

We loved our time at West Wind in Beech Mountain. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The highlight was easily the incredible sunsets — every evening, the view from the deck was absolutely breathtaking. The best sunsets I have ever seen! Peaceful location, beautiful home, and unforgettable views. Highly recommend and we can’t wait to return!
