Convenient and Clean Cottage

Just completed our weekend at Hot Toddy Cottage. The cottage was conveniently located and the communication and responsiveness of the host was excellent. We initially selected this property as an option to bring our dog, but we didn’t travel with pets. However you would never know it is a pet friendly cottage as there were no indications of past pets, kudos to the cleaning staff.Our only criticism is that the property feels a bit worn, due for some cosmetic improvements and potentially upgrades to the appliances. Would definitely stay here again.

New Years Eve Weekend 2024

We had 3 couples stay for the weekend of New Year's Eve with plenty of room and had a great time being so close to Banner Elk and Ski Beech. It was difficult to find at first with maps but great location and quiet! Very clean and cute aesthetic. Had to get use to the separate heaters and unpredictability of the temperature and a little lopsided of some rooms/floors. But overall, easy process and cozy! The hot tub was a highlight in the snow!

Short sweet ski vacation ⛷️

Very comfortable, fun decor, great location for visiting Sugar & Beech! Hot tub was new and we very much enjoyed it after skiing!! Ample space and every need was filled, including (surprise bonus) of drip Folgers coffee w/filters. Will rent again for another visit!!

Nestled right in the heart of Banner Elk and located a stone's throw from both Sugar and Beech Mountains, this cozy property has all the amenities you would expect for a family ski trip including a well maintained hot tub. everyone loved it and we will be returning!

We didn’t have running water for 3 days bc the pipes were frozen & the subfloors need a LOT OF WORK!! The heat didn’t work very well either. No central AC/HEAT
