The place was neat and organized. We had to leave the day before because of the storm. If you are traveling by car make sure your car is a 4 wheel drive because they kick you out and the police can give you a ticket if you stay.

We had a wonderful time. This place was perfect for our family. We spent most of our time out at the ski resort, but this space was perfect for our family dinners and quiet night after long adventures. The staff downstairs was very helpful and answered all our questions. We already knew about the shuttles for parking so we were prepared. They were easy to access and all drivers were so friendly and accommodating. We also utilized the bus to get to and from the resort. The only thing we wished there was more of was towels but there was a washing machine so that was also utilized. Overall we would stay here again and recommend to friends looking for a convinient place to stay and ski.

Good location, needs renovation, needs more detailed instructions on how to check in, need to list that you are required to shuttle to and from the facility, the cleaning service did not do a great job - red mold in both showers, inside of toilets needed to be cleaned, food from previous stay was in fridge, and candy wrappers in the living room. The view was great and there are not many other places to stay in the area so we would stay here again.

Beautiful views

Great sunsets. Nice pool, sauna, hot tub. Parking is easy - shuttles run continuously when lower lots are needed, or you can do a short walk. Can easily walk to top of sugar mtn resort which is much faster than taking the free bus. .

Property was nice, Vacasa Management NOT

Check-in time is 4pm, at 4:25 Vacasa management called to tell me the check in is delayed to 6pm (this interfered with all our evening plans) and there's "nothing we can do about it." I requested a partial refund and to be notified ASAP when the property would be ready. Never received a call back or any communication from Vacasa regarding the issue. Since we were already at the property (condo building), we decided to see if it was ready at 5 and it was. When I called Vacasa back to discuss the issue the agent tried to tell me that "check in times just START at 4, not always right at 4". I was baffled. I personally am a STR host/owner of over 8 years and four properties and I have NEVER told a guest their check in time was variable. I told him thats a lie and my contract states 4p check in. they clearly knew BEFORE that time it wasn't going to be ready but waited until AFTER 4 to tell us then never followed up. It's truly frustrating that large management companies can get away with things like this. I most definitely understand things happen and sometimes housekeeping can get behind (again, been doing this a long time as well) but the way it was handled was unacceptable. To some reading, this may seem like not a big deal. But this is exactly the kind of thing big companies need to address and I'm sure the actual owners of the property would be disappointed to know how it was handled, We will only be renting from small private owners from now on.

Great location and views

We had a great stay at this facility. This place had amenities for 4 people. We had read that and brought extra towels which helped. We had amazing views from the balcony. The family enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The room had games that the kids enjoyed playing. This was a great central location to many hiking trails that we enjoyed during our stay.

Good location

Condo is in a great location. The shuttle service was great. Was very dirty. Under the beds and floor was dirty. Some dishes were dirty from previous usage. Not as clean as you would expect. Not enough towels for the unit. Had to share and wash towels for everyone to be able to shower but did not have enough hot water for everyone to shower anyways. . Hot water only would last enough for only one person to shower. Contacted owner regarding hot water issue without a response.

Mid week stay

Shuttle service to get to resort was inconvenient and unexpected. Room was pretty much as shown on photos, great view of mountain. It was lacking in some kitchen amenities such as paper towels and pepper. Some areas looked not as clean as we are used to in similar properties. Slider was a bit treacherous, both my husband and child tripped on the way out due to it being a high double slider track and then a step down once you cleared the track. Overall opinion is it was ok.

Snow warning

One foot of snow with chains made the road to get here almost impossible. We arrived during a storm where even their shuttle bus could not take us from the parking lot to Sugar Top. We had to walk all our luggage with 3 kids in 12 inches of snow. Staff was not leaving for the week, and was unaware we would not be able to have access to food once we got up. Internet was down and residents warned us of potential power outages. We were not prepared because the description did not mention any of this. There was no shuttle to Sugar Mountain Monday-Thursday and with fear of not getting back up, we could not leave. It was not an enjoyable experience. The place was dusty with food behind couch cushions. No sheets for pull out bed. I was seriously unimpressed but even more unimpressed by the lack of description, warnings and response from management. Would not stay at Sugar Top again.

Nice condo, clean, great views

We had a great time at the property! Sunsets are gorgeous from the balcony, furniture is nice and they had everything we needed there for a short ski weekend. Shuttle situation is less than ideal when it's snowing but we were prepared for it from all the reviews. All the drivers were very nice and frequency of the shuttles wasn't terrible. Thanks!!
