“We opted for three nights here after 2 nights at a 5-star in old town Yogyakarta and were delighted the contrast. This was quiet and more personable. The "in-village" experience was pleasant, never obtrusive. Security and comfort were good. Though much was written in other reviews about the noise from the mosques nearby, they did not bother us at all - it was actually a nice sampling of one part of life for most Indonesians and not disturbing of our rest. The restaurant's range of food choices……

“I stayed for a week and used this place as my base to explore the sites in and around Yogyakarta. It is conveniently situated for the airport and Borobudur. It is a haven of peace and the views are breathtaking. My room (Royal Stone House) was spacious and well appointed, with a fridge, a kettle and a safe deposit box. The bed was very comfortable. The staff went out of their way to ensure that my stay was perfect. The breakfast selection is great. I would stay again. Recommended.”

“Very good hotel, lots of greens made you feel relax. Although it's not near downtown, it's a first choice to stay at yojogkarta. Nearby also got some cafes for food.”

“pros: location is awesome for backpacker. you can find bars, motor rental, place to change money...within 200m. Room is spacious, Decorations is boutique, staffs are really friendly, and we are always served with their warm smiles. cons: while we intered the room we found the mugs with stains inside and trash can did not clean up. breakfast is okay but menu is confusing. you have to rent the dry for RP25000 for 24hrs(wander if it is common sense in Indonesia).”

“The room was nice and large. The bed was super comfortable. The staff were very friendly and eager to be of service, although their English skills varied from non-existent to passable. The breakfast variety was impressive, a large number of western and Indonesia dishes. The gym was well stocked for a hotel gym, they even had free weights. It could do with some painting and modernization. The hotel is on the Ring Road, so it is further from the tourist attractions but also quieter because of……

“Had a great stay at Omah Ndoro Sugiharti. Everything was smooth, it was clean, fresh and super cosy. They provided ample repellent for insects. I was constantly assured if there was any problems, and was always quickly attended to. Highly recommend and would definitely go again. ”

“Die Struktur ist schön, Steinböden und Kunstwerke. Leider ist es aber auch sehr, sehr, sehr hellhörig! Der Lift Bimmelt die ganze Nacht (laut!), es ist Bewegung die ganze Nacht durch! Auch nach mehrmaligem darauf hinweisen (in der Nacht die Rezeption angerufen) hat sich nichts verändert! Die Zimmer wurden über die Jahre sehr fleißig genutzt und sehrn dementsprechend aus! Position ok für Exkursionen. Frühstück (local) sehr reichhaltig und nettes Personal.”
