Acadia Hotel is lovely. I like the charm of older buildings, anyway, but it was also clean, the breakfast was pretty good, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is perfectly placed, in my opinion, as it's less than ten minutes from Acadia National Park, and is right on the green in Bar Harbor (literally, you just walk out the door and Bar Harbor's main area is right in front of you). The parking is also definitely a plus.

The room was very cute and comfortable. The location was spot on. Walking distance to shops, places to eat and the Sand Bar you can walk across. The only concern was the parking. If you have a big truck it was very difficult to park in their lot at the hotel. I loved the walk into town for meals. The hotel did have breakfast and an omelet station which was great. The bed was extremely comfortable.

We loved our little porch and the location. The buses for Acadia pick up right across the street and so many shops and restaurants were right there too yet it was quiet. Breakfast was included, even made to order omelets which was great! Our room was small but comfortable, quiet and clean. There is a bar on property and always free coffee, water and ice available. We would recommend!
