We have stayed at the Wilderness Properties for around 24 years, when our daughter was under 18 we would come 2-3 times a year and rent a villa, condo or cabin. Always a wonderful experience.
This year we did book through expedia as we would normally do and we got the confirmation from expedia for the condo. When I arrived on our check in day I came in early so we could pre check and get our wrist bands to start enjoying our day. Well Wyndham's system never confirmed our reservation so I had to sit and wait 2 hours for a manager to come in and work through their systems to confirm my room that was booked around 6 weeks earlier. That took about 45 minutes. This is a very poor system, the staff was very apologetic and I understood why the front desk couldn't help but this should never have happened. I was very patient as causing a scene or being mean never helps any situation. This will not deter me from staying there again but they need to work on their confirmation systems from 3rd party sites or stop letting 3rd party sites book with them.
