We didn’t have time to partake in the cooking class or truffle hunting, but I guess that just leaves a reason to come back. The location was great too because it’s in the country away from the busy cities, but a close enough drive to all the various Tuscan sites.The owners were very nice and spoke good enough English....

「Our hosts Sylvia and Franco were extremely helpful prior to our stay as well as during. They provided maps for hiking and for interesting villages to see in the area! The hotel is in a very small area but accessible to a wide area. Restaurant across road is highly recommended. The hotel has a beautiful pool, well maintained and an area for table tennis or relaxing. Many BBQ’s are available for use.」

「The apartment is at the heart of the small village, central to several great restaurants and practically across the street from the incredible 11th century abbey. The place was very clean and has been recently renovated, but still had a very historic feel to it. Emanuel, our host, was very friendly and gracious. He offered several personal recommendations to restaurants and a wine tasting at a nearby castle, all of which were great! Would definitely stay here again!」

We very much appreciated the bottle of wine and Olive oil from the estate and would have loved to do the winery tour if it weren’t for having the kids with us!
