Girls weekend

Good sleeping arrangements, nice kitchen but could use more dish towels. Loved the sun room & patio. Would recommend to others who want to visit wine country in Virginia.

Beautiful, the home is well maintained and nicely furnished. A couple random steps between rooms could use yellow tape in order to help prevent people with vision impairment from stumbling. Property owner was kind and very responsive to any requests and questions.

Wedding Weekend

Beautiful location and convenient to shopping although feeling remote. The house and property was clean and comfortable. Sunrises over the farm were spectacular!Drawbacks... The house was not stocked well compared to most rental homes. Bring additional shampoo, cooking spices and garbage bags. I would rent again if house was properly stocked.

Beautiful and relaxing

We had two families stay together in this beautiful farmhouse. It was very clean and well appointed with modern updates. Checkin and out was a breeze and communication with the host was super smooth. We would love to go back during warmer weather to enjoy the nicely landscaped outdoor area.

Picturesque farm property

Beautiful respite for a busy wedding weekend

We rented Due Sorelle for our extended family during our son's wedding weekend at Early Mountain Vineyards. We loved the house -- it was charming and spotless, with the bonus of a generous welcome basket waiting for us at our arrival. It provided a restful, comfortable home base for our out-of-town parents and siblings to prepare for the weekend activities and relax between events at the vineyard (only a 15 minute drive away). Our family members also enjoyed spending time on the patio and raved about the peaceful surroundings and beautiful view. While we were particularly interested in the home for our 90+ year old parents, our one "lesson-learned" was that the house may not have been the best-equipped for their needs. For example, the primary bathroom on the first level did not have grab bars installed. And, as is true in many older homes, there are many steps up and down between rooms which make it a little tricky to navigate for older folks wanting to avoid falls. Also, although we did not have children staying with us for the weekend, if we did we would have wanted to know that some of the beautiful, fine furnishings in the home are antique, delicate, and one-of-a-kind irreplaceable. As a grandparent myself, I would have needed to be extra-diligent to watch our little ones if they had been with us. Overall, Due Sorelle is an incredibly beautiful, relaxing, and restful place to enjoy a weekend away. We would highly recommend it!
