Very beautiful hotel in art nouveau style by famous architect. Fantastic breakfast, delicious dishes and drinks at the rooftop terrace, where there is a small pool, which is lovely to use after a day in the hot city.

What a great hotel and the perfect location to wander the streets of Barcelona! Delicious breakfast, helpful staff, and the icing on the cake was we were right next-door to a theater and I got to catch an intimate appearance of Robert Plant! I believe it was divine and intervention finding this hotel!

Unacceptable and unsettling for a four star hotel: We requested accommodations in advance, but none were available. The AC wasn’t working, and the only room offered wouldn’t be ready until the next day around 1 p.m. On our final day, we also found a cockroach in the room, which was unacceptable. Overall, the cleanliness and maintenance did not reflect a four-star standard - and no compensation was granted either.

This was a fantastic accommodation option for my brief stay in Barcelona. The hotel interior has an historical charm that added to its atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and happy to assist in any way. I would recommend this hotel highly and will be returning.

Our room had a balcony and it was lovely to be able to sit outside. I just wish the weather was better but we fully enjoyed the few days we were able to utilize the balcony.
