This 110 m2 apartment, located on the third story of an elevator building on the prestigious Carrer de Muntaner in L'Esquerra de l'Eixample, has beautiful period details, including original mosaic floors, high plaster ceilings, stain-glass windows and polished wooden archways. A modern fully equipped kitchen, a modern bathroom with hand shower, bathtub, and toilet, and another bathroom (toilet, sink and full shower) offers the perfect combination of elegance and practicality.

There is a large master bedroom with an arched sitting area at the back of the apartment, while two smaller bedrooms, one windowed, one without, line the hallway, so that no bedroom faces the street, providing for a peaceful night's sleep. The large living room has six tall windows opening onto terraces, with couches and a television. An adjoining dining area comfortably seats 6.

Within walking distance to Placa Catalunya, Passeig de Gracia, las Ramblas and the historic districts of El Born, El Raval and El Barrio Gotico the apartment is ideally located. Restaurants, shops, a supermarket, and public parking are all nearby.

Our family of 5 (3 teen boys) absolutely loved this apartment. It was spacious, with room to play cards, eat, have late night conversations and music without waking everyone, find a quiet moment on the balcony and check out the action in the street. The location was excellent for easy to access all the sites, plenty of local eateries, coffee, pastries shops etcWe all slept soundly too!

A Lucky Find, the Perfect Barcelona Getaway!

We couldn’t have picked a nicer and better apartment for our Barcelona vacation! It’s completely charming with high ceilings, Spanish tile floors, arched doorways, and stained-glass windows, but also has beautiful modern bathrooms, a well-supplied kitchen we used to cook breakfasts, and air conditioning that can be custom set for each room. One of the old Barcelona markets, el Ninot, is only a block away so we walked over for fresh eggs and fruit every couple of days, and picked up other things, like yogurt and Aperol, in the supermarket below it. The apartment location is great, surrounded by wonderful restaurants, bars, and gelato shops, and even though we were there in the height of summer, with the windows closed you couldn’t hear street noise. The property manager was very responsive whenever we contacted her, and the owner supplied us with fantastic recommendations for places to eat. The elevator was a huge plus for us, as well as the bus stop down the street, since one of us has bad knees. We were all so sad to leave this apartment—and would absolutely stay here again when we come back!

Charming Flat & Communicative Hosts

We loved the flat. We were 3 moms & 3 daughters on a senior trip. Host had wonderful recommendations and was always available. Check in & check out went smoothly. Only suggestion would be to add a tiny bit more to the welcome book about how to use the showers/water. I’m sure common sense to many but we were confused for a moment but figured it out. Nice touch that had some water, coffee pods & milk upon arrival.

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay! Communication with Dave and Amy (the owners) was great. They did not mind my many questions. When it got close to the time that we would be arriving, Nicole (the property manager) reached out to us to assure us that Gautier would be there to let us in the apartment and show us around (she was out of town during our stay). Dave provided us with Gautier's contact info and Gautier was immediately responsive when we reached out to him. We were able to check in early which was a real benefit since we arrived in Barcelona so early. We waited in a café across the street for Gautier and he arrived right on time. The apartment was spacious and clean. Our granddaughter and her friend stayed with us and enjoyed it very much. Be aware that the elevator is very small and could only fit me and most of our luggage in it. 3 three people fit pretty well in the elevator but that's it. We liked the location of the apt. It was within walking distance to many places. We took a cab if we didn't want to walk really far and for the four of us it really wasn't bad. We used the freenow app for taxis. That way we knew exactly how much we were going to get charged. I hope to return to Barcelona one day because a week just wasn't enough time to do all that we wanted to do. The people are so very friendly especially given all the tourists that come through there. This was our first time in Europe, and the Spaniards made such a positive impression!

Spring Trip to Barcelona

Apartment was perfect for our family of 4 to explore Barcelona! The property manager was very helpful and accessible. The owners put a lot of thoughtful details (i.e. white noise in each bedroom) into the apartment to make sure guests are comfortable. There is a lot of conveniences within a close walking distance. Would definitely stay here again!

Comfortable apartment in great neighborhood

This apartment worked out great for our family! It has everything you need and more, and enough space for our family of 5 to all be comfortable. The neighborhood is wonderful; we always felt safe and it is in easy walking distance to lots of sights including Las Ramblas and Parc Cirudella. There are lots of terrific restaurants right in the neighborhood; we loved Le Romane right at the building and the Pasta Lab just around the corner. Great spot!

Wonderful apartment. So much character with arches, tile, and stained glass. Loved my master bedroom; the other 2 bedrooms were small. 2 nice bathrooms- one with huge tub and other with shower. Small balcony onto street but bedrooms were quiet. Nice to have washing machine dishwasher, and AC. Plus building had elevator! Close to multiple restaurants and bars.The management responded quickly to all texts and emails and were patient when i took time to get back to them. Really friendly management who spoke English. Loved this apartment.

Up scale Eixample district

We had an overall great experience during our stay at this property. Any negatives we had concerned the supposed on-site manager which have been rectified. The location was very central to all we wanted to do in Barcelona and very walkable. Our hosts gave us some excellent ideas for eating of which we took advantage on several occasions. The ambiance of the area was one of casual European living with cafes, shops and a lot of coffee stops where we could enjoy people watching. While we did not want to do sightseeing of the well known spots around Barcelona they were readily accessible. Late October early November has good weather and fewer tourists which made for a slower paced vacation. We would certainly return to the apartment.

Wonderful apartment with original features

We loved the apartment with its original features, carefully chosen interior decor and sleek, modern kitchen. Everything was of the highest quality. Plenty of room for our family of 6 adults. Location is excellent! Communication with the apartment's owners also excellent. A second set of keys would be useful (for a party of 6 people). We thoroughly recommend this apartment!

Style and Comfort in a beautiful Barcelona neighborhood

This property is truly a mix of antiquities and contemporary design. The floors are magnificent with the original Spanish tiles. The ceilings and stained glass windows added to the charm. The bathrooms and the kitchen offer all of the modern amenities to make your stay very comfortable. Modern appliances are very convenient. The bedrooms are extremely quiet. Best of all our host gave us the most incredible list of restaurant recommendations many of which we sampled. He was a tremendous reference point for an our trip. The only very small glitch was our property manager wasn’t there to give us instructions on the apartment so we waited at a nearby café. It really wasn’t a problem because we got to people watch as we set waiting for her to arrive. It is an upscale beautiful neighborhood. I highly recommend this apartment.

Great stay

Great location for sightseeing in Barcelona. Suite was lovely for 5 adults. A/C was a dream as it was super hot during our visit. On the 3rd floor but there is tiny elevator if needed. Right beside a brothel but it wasn't too obvious LOL. Quiet nights with no noise in apartment. Beds all comfortable.

Amazing apartment in Barcelona's L'Eixample

Our family loved our stay in this apartment located in Barcelona's L'Eixample District. The location was very convenient for all of our activities and made getting out and about in Barcelona a breeze. It is a very comfortable place that I would recommend to anyone. We did have some initial hiccups on our check in due to a late after hours arrival, but the property manager and owner cleared everything up quickly are our stay was perfect.

Great walkable location for families

From the first time we booked until we arrived, the hosts were great to answer any questions we had. Our family of 5 (9 year old, 14 year old and 18 year old) were so happy with the accommodations. Thank you! The rooms were comfortable and much larger than they appear online in photos. The apartment was a great place to spread out after we returned from exploring the city. The kitchen had everything we needed and the large living area was a fantastic area to plan out our days. The neighborhood was quiet and had amenities & restaurants nearby. The apartment was clean and as a bonus had European to US converters in many of the rooms that enabled us to plug in and charge our devices. We also loved the convenience of the washer/dryer. Thank you for providing us a great place to stay for our families first trip to Barcelona!

Great stay in a beautiful apartment!

We absolutely loved our stay in this apartment. It is ideally situated in the Eixample district - just 15 minutes walk from Casa Battlo! It is also very comfortable with ample space for a family.
