An idyllic location and convenient for exploring the local area.

An idyllic location and convenient for exploring the local area. Southview is comfortable and has everything you could need in a cottage, so well equipped, clean and tidy. The views from the rear of the cottage are stunning and we particularly enjoyed watching the entertaining sheep and chickens from the lounge. The Bowes museum is literally opposite the cottage and it is a short walk into Barnard Castle which has some lovely places to eat and drink. The owner, Chris, is on hand for any issues as he lives next door. Would definitely recommend for a chilled out and relaxing break.
