“James and Hansel were fantastic hosts, very welcoming and helpful, the property itself is in a great location and has a charming character, rooms were clean and tidy and very spacious. Communication was excellent, I would stay again and recommend ”

“The room was spacious and the bed was more than a double, greatly appreciated. The shower, although in the bath, was powerful and the water temperature easily controlled. The TV wasn't huge but a taller guest might knock their head on it as it was on the wall just where I walked round the bed from my side. Staff were friendly and amenable. Breakfast was tasty.”

“The rooms made the stay special. Everything you need provided , from a hairdryer to an iron and ironing board . ”

“Room was clean and modern, I had to switch the electric radiator off in the night cos of the noise it was making and to top it off not really the hotels fault but kids on scrambler bikes were racing on the field in the night.”

“Staff were great, particularly Jake who was amazingly helpful behind the bar and also in the dining room. Lea Marston should be thankful, along with all the other great staff, that Jake is on your staff. ”

“The gym as it was advertised contained only one running machine, a rower, some weights and a broken bike. However the room it was in was lovely! So under used. The rooms were nice and the beds comfy but the walls are paper thin and the workmen who visit it use language which would make a sailor blush so please be aware of taking children. Otherwise nice enough, pleasant and helpful staff and the beds were firm. Also the windows opened properly. I have not seen that in a while. Breakfast was……

“There was hair in the bath so I couldn’t have a shower but my partner still had a shower and then we checked out around 3 instead of the actual time which was 11 the stafff was amazing very welcoming I would like to come again but I hope the room will be more clean when visiting as I did enjoy the pool and the garden ”

“This place is spotless. Has big spacious light rooms tea / coffee water biscuits plates cutlery etc. A fridge a microwave.the most comfortable beds a power shower. Towels in bathroom. Ironboard infact everything u need for a short stay. Very secure car park with cctv and electric charging point if needed. ”

“I can’t sleep at night because a dirty sofa bed and disturbing air conditioner sound.”

“Everything and enjoyed using the leisure facilities. Many memories of the late night venue, Jake's, when I was on my late teens.”

“Good night sleep but needed to relax after long journey no pool no sauna no jacuzzi so let down badly, when booking should be told amenities aren't available would have booked a different hotel with all workings available amenities ”
