「This place could truly be excellent, however they just missed the mark in a few areas. 1) The restaurant food quality was almost good but they used toxic seed oils in everything. 2) We booked the sauna only to find it turned off and no towels for us. We turned it on ourselves, told staff to push our appointment back to the next half hour block. 「Our group of seven ladies spent one night at Hotel Pibi Boreal. It was wonderful!! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was brought to our rooms, which was a nice. Each room had a patio overlooking the forest. We would definitely stay here again!!」

「Adriana, the property owner, was very welcoming. She covered all the logistics clearly and she also arranged for our shuttle to the airport which was very helpful. The room was basic but very comfortable. Our only issue was finding it as Costa Rica does not have street addresses. There was a map and description so we got close but needed help. Our taxi driver was able to phone Adriana for assistsnce.」
