「Very characterful room, staff were most welcoming and made a lovely fuss of our little dog , as well as giving him a sausage at breakfast time. Nice to have a bath too. Excellent value for money, will stay again.」

「Incredible location close to everything, friendly staff, good value. The rooms are basic but comfortable, with nice views, lots of amenities including kettle, full bath. Llangollen is a beautiful, friendly town with local shops/no franchises. There are wonderful walks along canals to waterfalls, deserted abbeys. 」

「I booked here for a catch-up with a dear friend. It was nice and clean, but i booked a twin room, but they gave us a double, so that had to be sorted and the basin in the bathroom was severely cracked, so reported that also. Food was just ok, but expensive, plus the drinks also. A small glass of prosecco and a red wine was over £20 Breakfast was plentiful, but the staff on breakfast duty on 24/3 need additional training in customer services 」

「A perfect stay and will definitely be back. Easy check in, the rooms, 1 and 2, were fantastic and great for the dogs. The facilities in the room were everything we needed. The bar and restaurant were really well set out and the decor created a nice homely feel, very relaxing. The food was perfect, good portion sized, nicely presented and really good quality.
