「We booked 2 rooms and noticed that there was size difference between the 2 rooms. One of the rooms did not have any bath gel or soap.」

「Clean room good breakfast Room had no window to look out of only sky light. Shower only, broken shower holder so had to hold with one hand while showering. No extractor fan in toilet and no window tried to change room but non available glad it was only 2 nights」

「The pictures on the site do not represent the reality of this hotel. It’s currently very run down and in need of lots of work. We stayed for 3 nights, we only had 3 towels and although we asked for more twice, were not given any and they weren’t changed during our stay. The bathroom looked new but unfinished. There was nowhere to put shampoo etc. in the shower, the floor was slippy (I bought a rubber mat for them) the toilet flush was dodgy and neither the fan or light above the mirror worked....

We arrived for our 7:45pm reservation and were initially seated directly beside the kitchen. Throughout service, chefs could be heard swearing loudly and frequently, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere and ultimately led us to request another table. Very atmospheric place bang in the middle of the town great access on foot to all amenities. A 10 minute stroll to the Castle and the excellent car park. Breakfast was first class value.
