「Unfortunately, the check-in at this hotel was one of the worst I’ve experienced. Firstly, they do not accept American Express, which was inconvenient and not clearly stated in advance. The receptionist then struggled to process my alternative card, insisting it didn’t work. I politely asked her to try again and of course, the card worked perfectly the third time, confirming it was a user error on her part. What made the situation worse was her lack of apology or acknowledgment of the mistake....

「I loved primrose cottage so much. It was just perfect for my solo trip. It really felt like a home from home, I felt so comfortable there. The duvet and pillows were so soft and plentiful. The Wi-Fi was great, no issues at all. The kitchen was very well stocked, more than it needed to be but my favourite part of the stay was the shower. It was - hands down - the most powerful shower I've ever had. Just perfect after my run on the beach I really hope I'll be back soon and hope...

「Had a really great 2 night stay. Room was lovely, so comfortable. It was a great period style - but still provided for today’s needs - great wi-if, large shower, plenty of sockets. Ellen looked after us really well and couldn’t do enough for us. As for the breakfast - superb! Great choices and didn’t need lunch! 」

「Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Comfy bed, spacious room, great shower. Food choice was good. Downside the amount of curry my wife had could of been more plentiful. My teriyaki fish needed more seasoning, I don't usually add salt or pepper to meals but in this case had to. Saying that my 2 friends steak and linguine was apparently lovely. The full English was exceptionally good and plentiful 」

「Glebe Cottage was a lovely place to stay. The location was superb with views out to sea from the cottage and hot tub. The cottage was well appointed and very clean. I read other people’s reviews so brought some scissors. Bonus of having electric car chargers right outside the cottage. It’s really thoughtful of the owners to mow the edges of the fields so you can easily walk to the coast or to Embleton village without going on the road.
