“South Point resort is very nice, but it is far from the calming beaches and activities in Barbados. They don’t offer complementary shuttle service to the beaches or airport thus far each taxi or Uber is 30 US dollars per Way. If this hotel is in a different location, it will be every bit of a five. “I booked this apartment late afternoon, and arrived promptly after booking. The host Greg was fantastic. He was friendly and extremely helpful. I couldn’t have asked for a better host. He made sure I had everything I needed and settled me into the apartment with all the info I needed. WiFi was fast and there was a smart tv too to watch Netflix or Amazon prime. Shower was great. The rooms are well equipped with microwave, stove and everything needed to prepare meals while on vacation. “The staff there during my stay 7/17 to 7/22 were tremendous and one was actually a super hero. I believe his name is Junior who risked his life and dove into the beach water fully dressed. He helped 2 people screaming for help because the late evening current took them out too far. Junior who looks like a baby himself needs to be honored by the company that owns the resort. “First off it’s a small place but that doesn’t take away anything. Its gorgeous!!!! Staff is beyond helpful. It has an amazing restaurant up top and is close to a lot of things. You will not be disappointed if you book this. We just celebrated our honeymoon there and already planning out next trip back.”
