“We enjoyed our stay at the Happy Place, and can see why it is called that! We went on several walks to the park, enjoyed our time in the two-person hot tub, and went on a hike at Big Creek Campground, less than 10 minutes down the road. All in all, it was a lovely weekend. “My wife and I got away for a long weekend after being kid-free. We brought kayaks and wanted to explore the area. We enjoyed the location very much, with easy access to Hoodsport and Hama Hama. The access to the water wasn't as easy as we hoped, but the fact that there's a little county park in front of the house did work out for us. The neighbors seem very protective of the beach though, so that's weird. Luckily the smoke from the Bear Gulch fire didn't come down low enough to bother us either,……
