Mid-winter Break Ski Trip
The most perfect location for ski-in/ski-out with kids! Instant access to the purple lift and not far from the bunny hill for lessons. Plenty of space to hang out and relax. We enjoyed cooking in the fully stocked kitchen and access to the outdoor pool and hot tub.

Great family ski rental.
This is a perfect home for a vacationing family. Nice design for kids downstairs and adults on the main floor. Ski-in, ski-out feature is super. Will rent again!

We had a wonderful stay. Perfect place for us and our adult children. Very clean and SPACIOUS! Spent 2 days at beautiful Torch Lake. We will be back!

Family girls weekend
The downstairs bathroom door handles/knobs do not work. One catches and the other does not come out of the door - stays hiding. We had a great weekend!

Awesome Condo!
Everything was great! The location, the condo itself and the host were all awesome! We took advantage of the Shuttle that took us into town. Big Al was our driver and was the man! The golf courses were in excellent shape as well! Great weekend.

Perfect for our family of 6
Lots of room for everyone. Everything we needed. I cooked a lot while there so I appreciated the new appliances. The condo is actually big enough for 2 families. Just our 17 yr old girls use the sauna once but worked perfectly. Check in & check out were very easy. We had no issues so there was no need to speak w/ owners. We would definitely return here.

Convenient amenities
We were pleasantly surprised at the size and many other things that were upgraded from the online listing on VRBO. The owner was always very responsive and quick to resolve any issues or answer any questions we had. Free shuttle, walkable pool and so may fun things to do nearby. Would definitely stay again. My only complaint would be that it could have been cleaned better.

Never been happier!
The condo was clean and a great space for getting together with groups. A few different common spaces that made it easy for everyone to connect. Comfy beds, great tvs, nice speaker system in the basement, and a well stocked kitchen. The Shanty creek resort location was great for us.

Slopeside is the Bestside!
Such a convenient location for skiing. Easy to pop-in for a quick warmup and then head back out. Kitchen has everything you need (props on having a crockpot!) Big TV’s in every room! We brought Rocky’s so it felt just like home. Only small challenge is the temperature control (very cold downstairs). Definitely coming back…soon!

Cedar River condo
We had a wonderful time at Cedar River. The condo is great! It’s very big and has plenty of room ! Kids loved the basement and the back deck was just perfect for morning coffee and evening relaxation! Would definitely recommend!!!

Great for skiing!
Our annual family ski weekend was great in this condo. Plenty of room, comfortable beds, ski in-ski out very convenient, nice view of the slope and ski lift. It was a pleasure to work with Angie and hope to return next year.

Awesome ski-in, ski-out stay
We had a great time skiing this February. The location was ideal- throw open the door wall, strap on your skis and jet down to the purple lift. We we glad to stay here, especially considering the cold temperatures. We popped in and out all day long for intermittent warm-ups with our young children. Place was big enough to accommodate our family of 5 and an overnight with our sister in law too. Communication with the owner was above-and-beyond . Our daughter forgot her favorite stuffed animal and the owner went out of her way to connect with the cleaning service to ensure we got “bunny “ back. Thanks again!!!! We will be back.

Fantastic Weekend!
True, ski in and ski out location. Lovely condo. Clean and comfortable. The two floors made a perfect separation of adults and kids! Cozy beds and living space. Plenty of storage for skiing equipment. Quick walk to pool and main lodge. We would like to stay here again!

The owner of the place Angie Munford did great description and pictures on VRBO website. The location of the condo is the best - right outside purple lift. The room’s was very spacious and well equipped with all essentials. I have no hesitation in recommending this condo to the tourists who want to go to Shanty Creek Resort / Schuss Mountain area.

The condo was great for a family weekend. Lots of room for our group of 9 to sleep comfortably. Three full baths which was great for such a large group. Nice view of the slopes! We would definitely re-rent in the future if available.

Perfect location, spacious and clean!
If you want ski in/out this location is for you! Condo was also very clean and spacious! We had four adults and six kids and there was plenty of space. Loved the hanging space for all of our ski gear too. Highly recommended!

Perfect location for an exceptional vacation!
The slope side location is perfect to have the best ski vacation ever! We had some family members just learning and having the magic carpet learning hill next-door was ideal. The others stopped in and out on the big slopes to catch a quick hot cocoa and say hi. Those not skiing could watch from the window and cheer on the others. The outdoor pool and hot tub was great! The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed and the host was quick to respond. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Location!
Loved the location of the condo very cozy feeling and window view! Hassle Free check in and out easy to communicate with the owner fast respond to any questions! If we go back to Shanty Creek I will stay at this condo again.

Perfect ski-in / ski-out for large family.
What we liked the most included 2 fireplaces on 2 levels, pool passes, large bunk room and amazing location right at Village Way ski run with great ski racks and hooks to make it effortless to come and go off the slopes. Denise made check-in and communications effortless. We’ll stay here again if we return to Shanty Creek.
