Perfect place for us for extended vacation
This property exceeded our expectations! It was amazingly clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Bob and Amy were great hosts. They even supplied a lot of things that we usually carry, like hand soap, night lights and a charging station for electronics. There were plenty of cleaning and paper products available also. We stayed for three weeks to explore the area, and we really appreciated the large laundry room with washer and dryer and room to hang your clothes. The little town of Bellaire has restaurants, Shorts Brewery, and some cute storefronts. We enjoyed the coffee (and baked goods) at Ruth Ann's Bakery and Morning Grind. All of the trails and natural areas close by made it easy to enjoy the outdoors. Don't miss the Loon Nesting Preserve. We enjoyed the small towns of Alden and Elk Rapids also (beautiful sunsets in both places!) We could not have asked for a more perfect location or more accommodating hosts. We hated to leave!

Great stay and good communication
We had a great stay here. Very nice place and plenty of day trips to take from here. The owners are very responsive and really nice as well. We noticed when we arrived that the propane was almost empty, we contacted them and we had a new tank within the hour! Would definitely recommend staying here!

Close to Bellaire MI, quiet tucked away location.
Stayed two nights. AC was nice as first two units we visited on our 2 week trip did not. Liked that the house was not on a main through road, so noise was at a minimum. Everything was well stocked and would definitely return in the future.

Would Absolutely Stay Again!!
The house exceeded my expectations! Lots of storage, well stocked, and the high ceilings in the living room were great. It felt so good to just sit on the front porch, in the sun or not (there's a fabric awning you can pull over the table), and be so close to a trailhead as well as downtown Bellaire. It was a nice perk to have access to the giant garage so our car wouldn't get so hot in the sun. This is a great place to stay and I would recommend to everyone AND stay again! :)

Absolutely perfect
Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. My two sons and I came up for a fishing trip. The location is perfect with several lakes within a short distance. The pull through driveway was also ideal if you’re pulling a boat. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. All three of us decided this will be somewhere we go as often as possible. I was amazed at all of the amenities. Thank you for sharing this excellent property.

Great house for Bellaire vacation
This was our 2nd stay here, and we already booked our next stay for next year, we like it here a lot! Nice clean house on a quiet road, can bike to Glacial Hills. Downtown Bellaire is really close. The owners are responsive and take good care of the property.

Cozy, comfy and peaceful
Totally enjoyed our stay here! Comfortable beds, fireplace, kitchen with anything you need and not too far from town! Beautiful woods, in fact outside every window that’s all you see. It was very peaceful and quiet. We didn’t get a chance to check out the trails down the road, but we used this as a home base to go to Traverse City, Mackinaw City, Petosky and Charlevoix. We made most of our meals there as the kitchen has everything you need and stuff you didn’t know you needed lol!! We didn’t need to communicate with the hosts, everything was as the directions and details stated, although from all the thoughtful details the hosts have done to the house I’m sure communicating would not have been an issue, they truly want you to enjoy your stay there. We loved it and hope to be back!

This is an adorable place! Great communication from the hosts! The place is nicer than the pictures. There’s a bunch of hiking and biking trails a half mile up the road. Lovely place!

Great Place, Very Cozy.
The pictures don't do this place it's just desserts. Very clean and cozy. All the extras one might need during a stay away from home. Close to town and next to nature trails. Hosts are quick to respond to questions. If the need arises, I'll be back for sure.

Making Bellaire Easy
This is our 3rd visit to this property. Robert and Amy were great hosts. Very accessible. Their property is spotless. The check in process is easy and were their check-out requests. Great location for bumming around Up North. Would definitely recommend.

Great Fall Getaway
Great place to stay if visiting the Bellaire area. Had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable, and the high ceilings made it feel very spacious inside. Not very far out of town but just enough to give you privacy. Star gazing at night was fantastic!

Loved our stay!
This was our first time in Michigan and we were at first hesitant traveling with a 2 month old and our German Shepherds, but Bob and Amy were super accommodating and made the adventure easy! We had so much fun and we absolutely loved our house. It’s private and surrounded by beautiful nature, with just a short distance to the quaint town of Bellaire. Highly recommend!

Wonderful house in Bellaire
This was our 3rd time at Bob and Amy’s wonderful place and as always, we had a wonderful stay! We had everything we needed, the house was very clean, nice updates to the inside and outside, and always nice to have a washer/dryer and big laundry room. The house is a wonderful location to feel like you’re secluded in the woods, and yet just a few minutes from downtown Bellaire for delicious restaurants, grocery shopping and fun local stores. Also, very convenient that we were within delivery distance for local pizza one night at the house. WiFi gets a great signal in the house, and smart TV with all the streaming apps. The Glacial Hills trails are right around the corner, easy to walk to which we always enjoy too! Perfect for parking our boat/trailer because the driveway is long and spacious. About 10-15 minutes from Torch Lake, we were again able to keep our boat at a rental slip at Dewitt Marine which makes everything so convenient. Our 5th summer vacation in northern MI, we will continue to rent from Bob and Amy! They are fantastic VRBO hosts!

Great stay near Bellaire
We had a great vacation at this house! It's on a quiet road and you can ride your bike to the Glacial Hills trails in about 5 minutes. The front deck was a great place to have a meal or just relax with some beverages. The house itself has a nice layout, big pantry, garage, nice couch. Very clean. We loved the village of Bellaire, just a few minutes from the house by car. Had a great time at Short's, the Bellaire Bar, and the Mammoth Distillery. We also brought our street motorcycles and the surrounding area has nice curvy roads and very little traffic. We highly recommend staying here.

Absolutely wonderful!!
So here is the deal folks!!! This place is 5⭐️! It the perfect spot for mountain biking. The home is private and the own gives you your privacy. The pictures on VRBO do not do the rental justice. Amy (owner) and I chatted for a moment and she is great. Lastly we do not do second bookings because there are so many places to go and see but for us this was a perfect long weekend getaway spot….Thank you so much Amy and Bob. 👍🏼😁

This was the cleanest VRBO I've ever stayed in, not a speck of dust anywhere. Everything felt brand new, from the big fluffy towels to the pans that looked like they'd never been used. We had everything we needed and the house is just the right size for a couple friends or a small family. It's a perfect location for exploring this part of Michigan.

Absolutely Amazing Experience To Say The Least! Beyond Amazing!!!
This property is a hidden gem in so many ways. The property was accurately listed, clean, well-mainted, spacious, sequestered but still close to a lot of amazing things like breweries/food, Traverse City/Sleeping Bear Dunes/Mackinaw City and Island/U.P. are all between 1-2 hours away. The hosts were amazing, extremely nice, very prompt when responding to any questions, and made us feel warm and welcomed. We will definitely be staying here again next year! Again, another fantastic stay!
This was our second time staying, and it was wonderful again! The house was clean, everything was easily accessible, amenities were great, super close to Bellaire to go into town, but still enjoy feeling out in the country! We loved sitting on the front porch and having coffee and we enjoyed dinners out there as well. Thank you to Bob and Amy for another great stay! We already booked again for next July!

Close to town but country feel
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Bellaire. The house was well stocked and roomy enough for our 2 adult children and their significant others to enjoy meals and games together at the table. The house is positioned close enough to town for a quick trip to the store or launch your boat in Lake Bellaire but still feels woodsy and secluded. Hoping to return next summer.
