「Staff and food excellent. Booked a Superior Double room at £172, unfortunately we got a family room with a single bed and what looked like a Queen bed. Black mould on the bathroom ceiling and a light hanging out, bare wires above the bedroom mirror, heating was not on and we came back to a cold room, had to get the staff to sort the heating out, and although there is tea and coffee in the room with a kettle, there was no milk provided and so we could not make a cuppa in the morning.」

「We enjoyed this fantastic location and thought it was excellent value for money. Our only complaint relates to the Coffee machines at breakfast. The coffee was tasteless and needs to be properly percolated with a better quality of ground coffee beans. Table service for coffee would be much better.」

「Everything and all the staff were really great except for The Linden Tree Pub. Absolutely dire meal there. Would advise giving that a big miss. The Angler's Arms at Weldon Bridge is absolutely fab for evening meal. We all agreed best meal out ever. Breakfast at Linden Hall Restaurant was great too.」
