Beautiful View

This property has a beautiful view of the Deschutes River several hundred feet below. We stayed for a month and would do it again. Great location. This condo is very comfortable and the host answered our questions promptly. If you like wildlife watching, this is your place.

Great location

Right on the river with a fantastic view from the deck. A short walk down to the river trail and right to the old mill district and several parks. The pool is also great for kids and there is also a nice playground. Highly recommend!

Nice condo in a great area

The Mt. Bachelor Village resort is beautiful and clean, and the condo is big and very well appointed. The views of the river from the huge windows are amazing, and we saw a gorgeous full moonrise. The living and dining areas are large and comfortable. The kitchen is updated and has everything you need including spices, coffee, and tea (although no teapot).The master bedroom is huge and the king bed is very comfortable. The master bathroom could use updating, the shower and laundry worked fine, we did not use the jacuzzi tub as it was old and run down looking. We were disappointed in the deck and outside hot tub. The deck and windows are covered in spider webs and dirty, and the hot tub is old and not very powerful, with what looked like dirt and paint chips floating around. We did not contact the property manager and no one came to do maintenance during the week as was mentioned in the check in procedures. We did not use the grill. Overall it's a great condo in a great location and we were happy with our stay, we just wished the jacuzzi tub and the deck and hot tub area were nicer, as those amenities are one of the big reasons we chose this particular condo.

Went to Bend for an end of summer concert and kayaking trip and the location of this rental was ideal. The accommodations were comfortable, and the unit had everything needed to prepare and make meals.

We had such a great time in this condo! It was spacious and comfortable. We all had room to spread out and rest between activities. The kitchen was well stocked with pans I could cook with and other necessities. The location was perfect - spectacular view of the river below which made us feel like we were out in the country, but it was a short 5 minute drive to the best pizza, BBQ, and all other amenities. We can't wait to come back!

Great location. But the property was filthy. Hair in the tub. Hair in the silverware drawer. Windows covered with bugs and webs. Deck dirty. Will not rent from from Alpenglow again.

Beautiful Spot!

Terrific location with excellent views. I wish the windows out to the view were cleaner so we could have enjoyed it more on the sunny days. Very clean unit otherwise, mostly updated, with great, new carpeting. Well equipped kitchen and a good coffee maker. Outdoor hot tub works well; fits 2-3 people comfortably. Unit was a little short on bathroom supplies and one bed needed a minor repair. Parking under the carport was convenient and excellent, especially on the snowy days. No access to streaming accounts on TV's. Cable and DVD player provided. We'd go back!

Great Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this unit. It was extremely well equipped with most everything we needed. It could have used a set of oven mitts for the kitchen though as we could only find one pot holder. The hot tub was great however we think when the hot tub maintenance person attended they may have changed the filtration cycle and timing on the hot tub as the last few nights it came on around 3 am and ran for 4 hours and it is right outside the main bedroom so that was a bit disturbing early in the morning. Previous to that it only ran on heating cycles occasionally on the standard setting I believe. We have a similar one at our house so I am a bit familiar with the control settings but did not attempt to change any settings on this one so left it as it was. Also as noted in an earlier review the blinds in the master bedroom are very light and there are no room darkening curtains. For our trip this time in the late fall it was not too big of a problem but in the spring and summer it would be very bright in the bedroom early in the morning. We have stated in several other units in Mt. Bachelor village but this was the best by far and we would definitely stay in this unit again.
