Sunriver multi-family get away

The house was massive with five bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms, plenty of room for four families with a total of eleven children ages 3-18. Lots of space for people to find a quiet nook to read or nap. Rooms seemed to be pretty sound proof. We were able to easily prepare meals for our group with two ovens, two stove tops and a grill. There were two full size refrigerators and another fridge at the bar. Having the laundry room upstairs by four of the bedrooms made it easy to keep up with clothing needs. The view out on to the golf course provided entertainment as we watched the golfers go by and the deer frolic on the fairway. The house came equipped with several bikes and a bike trailer. Our group enjoyed time at the Sharc, High Desert Museum, horse back riding, river rafting, golfing, biking and regular trips to the ice cream shop. This is a perfect place for a large, active group.

Great Ski House

We had three generations together for a ski week and this house was perfect! The large kitchen was well equipped with big pots and pans to feed a group which I appreciated. There’s lots of room to spread out and play games or watch sports, and the hot tub and the pool room were big hits.

Ideal vacation home

Our family throughly enjoyed this home. The large open floor plan and large table enabled all of us to eat together, and the number of rooms allowed everyone to also have their own space. All was excellent!

The property was well equipped and very comfortable. House was very spacious and handled a 3 families really well. Heating in the house seems to be the issue. Each bedroom depending on their location either were hot or cold. A consistent temperature throughout the house was not attenable.

A lovely escape

It is a huge, comfortable property with a location that looks over the golf course. The inside is nicely decorated with comfortable furniture. What was most lovely was the back deck overlooking the golf course, among the aspen trees. An idyllic location in which to relax, with lots of indoor space in which large families can scatter. We knew of the large staircase from the photo, and brought an appropriate baby gate to protect the one year old. Given Covid19, we were isolated from the crowds of the village, and spent our time riding the bike paths in the out of doors, especially along the river. There is a grocery close-by on Cottonwood Road, so you needn't visit the larger market in the Village. Late at night, we stretched out on the golf course to watch the stars, of which there many. An added bonus was seeing the comet (that won't return for 68,000 years), shooting stars, the Milky Way, and the orbiting space station. Overall, a memorable vacation.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is well appointed and nicely decorated. We had a very enjoyable family holiday, four couples and five teens. The kitchen was large and made preparing meals easy. There was plenty of seating for meals, ten at the dining table and at least six at the kitchen booth. It was nice to have room in the garage to park our vehicles. The bicycles were nice to have for trail riding around the resort. Also the hot tub was enjoyed by all. The property description was accurate and the property was clean and well maintained. We would consider renting this property again.

Huge place for them to play, run.........Would be nice to have a Table tennis table to have more fun while it was raining outside. The lock in down stair bathroom was broken. Did not have too much problem but would be nicer to have it. The cleanliness, availability and condition of clean towels, sheets, pillows, blanket were more than expected.

Reviewer Comments: We spent few days over New Year holiday. the house is very nice and spacious! loved it! the only thing we did not like is that there were no locks on bathroom doors (but we understand it's owner's preference. just FYI). also the kitchen was not well stocked compare to our other rented houses at Sunriver (there is a lot of dishes and utensils, but we think for 16 people should have bigger pans. also would be nice to have things like foil, plastic wrap, more spices, etc) overall, the house is great!
