「The resort has the potential to be a 5 star resort. It is lacking the polish. Overall it is a beautiful resort, loved the organic garden, and the pool is very nice. Maintainance equipment was left out through out the despite work being done for the day. The main chef was amazing but his back up needs a lot more training and experience. Noticable difference in preparation of meals. Water pressure consistently low and hard to get hot water.」

Theodocios, our assistant at the Rainforest Retreat was an excellent guide and his wife, Francelia cooked delicious breakfast and dinner that was included with our stay. She also does laundry. We stayed one night there in the Eco-Pods and the 2nd night at the Chaa Creek Lodge. Docios shuttled us back and forth and provided excellent guidance.」
