The photos make the property look larger than it really is. I’ve seen cruise ship bathrooms larger than this one. The kitchen sink faucet seemed like it was going to come off at any moment. But the owner was very friendly and enthusiastic so that was nice.

Centrally located, but needs a lot of help

This could be such a lovely place, it’s centrally located, and has some nice historical details such as wooden beams, but it needs some help to be a good place to stay. Main issues: The place was really, really dirty. Every surface was covered in dirt and dust, the floor had food embedded into it, there was dirty cutlery in the drawer with the clean silverware, an empty syringe wrapper in the bed room, a book tossed in the fake plant in the corner, crumbs all over the sofa (not just the floor, which was bad enough), and a moldy coffee filter in the coffee maker. Because the place does not have a vacuum or mop etc, getting the place clean took even longer. At least we got the cleaning fee refunded. To make the place more livable, and add some basic functionality it would really benefit from the following improvements: Install proper heating throughout Closet space/cabinets for unpacking the suitcase Fix up the bathroom by removing the mold and installing a working shower/bathroom separation Fix the door between the bedroom and living area so it closes Add a trash in the bathroom Misleading descriptions No fitness area (that’s misleading to post as an amenity) Laundry is shared and has a schedule so you cannot just jump in Don’t just offer lip service when your guests complain about something, actually do something about it, offer to send somebody to clean, proactively address issues. I felt at times as if we were dealing with AI rather than a person.

Déception…

Dans la chambre, pas de prise électrique. Les volets sont légèrement cassés donc impossible d’être complètement dans le noir. La couette fournie n’est que pour une seule personne. Il y a un écran dans la chambre, mais pas de câble (logique… car pas de prises)…donc écran factice. On croit louer un appartement avec une télé dans la chambre mais en réalité nous n’avons qu’un écran. Néanmoins nous avons bien un lit King size, on y sent les ressorts mais ça passe. Niveau salle de bain, minuscule. La paroie de douche est trop petite, impossible de ne pas inonder la salle de bain en se lavant. Il faudrait pourtant juste une parois plus longue. Il y a pas mal de moisissure. On sent l’humidité, le papier se décolle ça ne donne pas envie de se laver. Nous étions deux et n’avions de fourni qu’une serviette à main et une serviette normale (j’ai appris par la suite que je n’avais indiqué par erreur qu’une seule personne sur la réservation mais j’avais pourtant bien communiqué avec le propriétaire en disant qu’on était deux). Le radiateur est dangereux dans la salle de bain car la résistance est à nue. Néanmoins il y avait des gels douches Côté salon, manque d’insonorisation (bruits à l’extérieur avec boite de nuit, porte d’entrée qui claque et bruit du voisin avec qui on a une porte communiquante). Manque de nettoyage et l’arrivée, pas d’équipement de ménage. La communication avec le propriétaire est rapide mais il n’apporte pas de réelle solution à ces différents points
