Couldn't have been happier!

Great place slightly removed from the noisy city center (~30-minute walk through interesting neighborhoods—we like to walk!—or 14 minutes by easy public transport) with a local neighborhood feel, a pretty river close by, and convenient services (grocery stores, an excellent bakery). Bergen can have a chill in the mornings and evenings, being close to so much water, so we were extremely happy to feel the ambient heat under our feet. Two nice bedrooms, a good kitchen, an excellent bathroom- efficient modern appliances and lock system. Particularly worth noting were the efforts of our host, Jonas. He was incredibly responsive--quick to answer any questions we had and enthusiastic to help. He made some great suggestions about restaurants in town which were really helpful. Recommend highly!
