I stayed in the Freesia apartment for one month and was visited by friends and family for various lengths of time. The most we had in the apartment at any time was five, which was quite comfortable. The location is off a busy street, but the apartment is set back in a much quieter area of the building. The setup is bright and efficient.The rooms were simply but comfortably furnished. Bedrooms are small but adequate. The kitchen facilities were new, clean, and well-equipped (a few beer glasses would be a nice addition). The washing machine and dishwasher were pluses. The location is excellent. It’s about 150 yards from a subway stop. The six train takes you to Unter den Linden in about 20 minutes. Friedrichstraße, Stadtmitte, Checkpoint Charlie, and Tempelhof Airport Park are also on the line. Various transfer sites get you anywhere you want to go. There is a bus stop even closer to the building. The weekly ABC transit pass goes for about 68, and you can go anywhere in Berlin and the surrounding area using any mode.There is a great Balkan restaurant (Bei Radi) in a quiet neighborhood about ten minutes away by foot. It features Croatian specialties, but its German offerings are also top notch. They have a nice outdoor seating area.One caveat: there are limited electric outlets in the apartment, so take some charging devices with multiple ports with you.

Schöne Unterkunft

Wir waren zu neunt in der Wohnung und insgesamt sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war freundlich und unkompliziert. Der Check-in und Check-out verliefen reibungslos und ohne Probleme. Die Wohnung war sauber und entsprach unseren Erwartungen – nichts auszusetzen. Insgesamt eine angenehme und unkomplizierte Unterkunft, die wir weiterempfehlen können.

Okay. Betten machen leider keine Freude. Zwei Badezimmer und WC, die sind Top. Etwas gehorig hatten wir erwartet auf grund andere Bewertungen, hatte aber nicht gestört. Ausstattung Kúchen leider zu Basic, aber geht..Am sonnsten fúr Paar Tage in Ordnung und zu empfehlen.

Die Ferienwohnung hat eine gute und recht zentrale Lage. Vieles ist Fußläufig erreichbar. Der Check-in und auch der Check-Out sind sehr unkompliziert und schnell erledigt. Ein Parkplatz kann für 10€ die Nacht im Hinterhof dazu erworben werden. Die Parksituation gestaltet sich allerdings trotz Stellplatz als äußerst eng und schwierig, da jeder parkt wo er möchte und ständig Autos in der Einfahrt stehen. Durch die im Hinterhof liegenden KFZ-Werkstätten ist es recht laut, wenn man das Fenster auf hat. Auch Abgase und unangenehme Gerüche von der Werkstatt ziehen dann durch die Wohnung. Leider waren der Kühlschrank sowie die Gefriertruhe abgeschaltet, daher hat es eine Weile gedauert bis eine Kühltemperatur erreicht war. Der Balkon ist leider äußerst klein. An die Nachtruhe im Haus hält sich niemand, kontrolliert wird sie dementsprechend auch nicht. Die Wohnungen sind alle sehr hellhörig und durch die dünnen Wände sowie den Spalt unter der Haustür hört man alles. Die Sauberkeit des Fußbodens sowie das Abstauben der Schränke lässt zu wünschen übrig. Die Küche ist so ausgelegt, dass man lieber nur wenig darin kochen möchte. Dennoch ist alles wichtige wie z.B. Teller, Töpfe, etc. in ausreichenden Mengen vorhanden.

Wohnung sehr geräumig und gut gelegen

Der Aufenthalt im Gesamten war sehr gut. Aus der Wohnung wäre mehr zu machen, sie ist recht spartanisch eingerichtet. Allerdings gehört meiner Meinung nach in jedes Schlafzimmer ein Schrank, was leider nicht der Fall ist. Der Duschkopf in einer Dusche war nicht zu fixieren, so dass man immer eine Hand dafür gebraucht hat. Die Kästen für die Rollladengurte waren auch nur provisorisch angebracht also war Fingerspitzengefühl gefragt. Ein Satz Handtücher mehr wäre auch schön gewesen, wurde aber nicht mal gegen Aufpreis angeboten. Wir wurden um abendliche Ruhe gebeten nicht alle halten sich jedoch daran. Da die Wohnung sehr hellhörig ist, empfehle ich, Ohropax mitzunehmen. Aber das waren Kleinigkeiten und daher im Großen und Ganzen alles gut und wir würden auch gerne wiederkommen.

The property was average. Very hot with no fans or air-conditioning in the middle of summer. Very uncomfortable sleeping at night. Wish there was a microwave to warm up food easily. Otherwise we made the most out of things.

Es war eine gute Wohnung für unseren Familienausflug. Alle hatten genug Platz und jede Familie ein eigenes Zimmer zum zurückziehen. Die zwei Badezimmer waren Gold wert. Leider ist die Wohnung nicht wirklich sauber gewesen, der Fußboden war sehr schmutzig, die Oberflächen jedoch gut geputzt. Ein paar kleine Möbel auf denen man auch Mal etwas abstellen kann, wären noch ganz schön, aber sonst hatten wir alles was wir brauchten und die Wohnung war schön groß und für unseren Zweck genau richtig.

Super Wohnung, sehr geräumig und gute Lage. Lediglich bei der Lage einen Punkt Abzug, da es gefühlt unmöglich ist in der Nähe einen Parkplatz zu finden. Top Kontakt von Beginn an und sehr flexibel und freundlich beim Check In, hier wurde bei uns auch kurzfristig und spontan noch der late Check In ermöglicht.

The staff assisted all our concerns. Neighbours can be loud but as soon as I escalated it to the staff , it all resolved. The accomodation is very clean ,tidy and spaceous. There was no microwave and that is the only suggestion I can say that the owner should consider to add in for the kitchen/dinning.

It was ok.

The manager of this property was easy to communicate with. The apartment was nice as well. I am giving the property a 3 star review because it was fee heavy. We had to pay for the use of sheets and towels. However the sheets were not clean. Additionally I still have yet to be refunded my deposit, which hopefully will happen soon, but is taking longer than it should. Finally the neighborhood was not as good as we thought it would be, however it was very close to two train stations. We felt safe but after dark it was a bit sketchy. So as far as being a cool apartment I would give the place 5 stars. However the fees we paid were definitely higher than expected. We paid a large service fee, a large housekeeping fee, and a large fee to use sheets and towels. When the WiFi fee was added in the total per night stay cost doubled from the advertised rate that initially showed up as we were looking for places to stay. I would recommend this apartment to others, but make sure you understand all the fees before booking, and be prepared to wait an unusually long time to be refunded your deposit.
